Great place to get a bacon egg and cheese. However, they run out of croissants fairly quickly. I was running in from the LES and this place is conveniently placed right off the bridge so it’s worth a try if your in need of a food fix. It’s not too expensive either. Pretty standard. The guys there are friendly and if you wanna sit and eat there’s a sitting area right across the street. Overall it’s not bad and if it’s on your route it doesn’t hurt to stop in.

I’m not a big Unilocaler, but I had to write a review about this Deli. The prices are not as bad as everyone makes it seem, especially for the quality/quantity you’re getting here. The staff is awesome, veryyy outgoing and nice. I go there every week and grab their awesome Chicken Club. It’s huge, and for $ 8.50, definitely worth it and definitely recommend you going there. It’s very clean too.

Place is fairly new so maybe they haven’t gotten their pricing figured out yet, but their mark-up is pretty high(e.g., $ 5 for a Naked smoothie and $ 4 for a Starbucks Doubleshot). Maybe it’s that brand new lease, but they’ll either have to come down on pricing a little or I’ll save my morning routine for a place further north on Bedford.

The place is fairly clean looking and the inventory’s better than I’m used to seeing in Bedstuy. I approached the grill to order a bacon, egg, and cheddar on a croissant. I’m told the bacon will be a few extra minutes. No problem. Upon tilting my head upward 20 degrees I spy moldy bagels sitting in a bag behind the counter. Not a good omen. As my bacon is cooking, I peruse their collection of fresh produce(mangoes, watermelon, and even cilantro), organic protein bars, and snack foods imported from Japan. A nice selection. The sandwiches appear on the counter and they’re assembled with the wrong kind of bread. Maybe I forgot to clarify. I asked the roll to be swapped out with a croissant and the guy making the sandwiches was really polite and accommodating. A few minutes later, I get my sandwich, take a bite, and notice my cheddar was replaced with some kind of spicy cheese. On a stale croissant.

I was on a walk, and found myself on the prowl for bacon egg and cheese. This was the first deli I encountered after passing through the Hasidic part of Williamsburg. And so to here I went. I had high hopes for the sandwich, based on the cleanliness of the place, and the option on the menu to add avocado.(And the wide selection of semi upscale snack foods, ranging from kale chips to Quest bars) The sandwich… they my sandwich on the wrong bread, so I got it remade with a croissant. The cheddar I’d ordered had been replaced with a funky spicy cheese, the extra bacon was an anemic sliver, the croissant was stale, the«avocado» was a thin schmear of overripe yet insipid avocado. The guy making the sandwiches was nice but ruined the order in every possible way. Also they didn’t have coffee stirrers or half and half. Stop here for a packaged snack but avoid the hot food at all costs.
