LTI Lightside

I’ve been using LTI for LF E6 for the past two years and they’re been perfect. The work they do is great and the service is professional and welcoming. Prices are good. GREAT and friendly staff. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Don’t make the mistake of going to Duggal and having them lose/​damage your film (repeatedly).

This is the only place I will get my 120 mm film processed. I’ve been going here for the past two years because I’m constantly happy with the quality. Prices are right on point and the man at the front desk is very helpful. Only downfall might be the hours as it is tough for me to drop off and pickup before 6 since I work and they’re only open Monday to Friday (long lunch anyone…), but they are happy to have someone else pick up if needed. HIGHLY recommend. Have not had them scan or print, but I can imagine the outcome would be just as good.

Wrote a Google review and thought I would leave one here as well. Simply put, they are the best around. LTI balances the professional with the personable approach, all the while being communicative and efficient. I love this place. Every member of the team there is exceptional, with no exception. Their customer service is beyond reproach and their prices are low considering the quality of their craftsmanship. If one wants Walgreens pricing, then one should go to Walgreens; good luck with that. They’re the best– lock, stock, and barrel.

I’ve gotten several rolls of film processed here and haven’t had a problem yet. Clean negatives, quick turnaround and reasonable prices. Congrats, LTI — you’ve earned a regular customer.

I’ve tried several labs here in NYC, and coming from The SF Bay Area, most of the premier labs here compare to those back home quite amazingly, but LTI-​Lightside has become my favourite. Very consistent with their results– development just as specified. Haven’t lost a roll yet! Great prices are a plus too, and their student discount helps the wallet as well.
I definitely recommend this lab. I’m yet to try their specialty B&W development, but I’m looking forward to it in the near future.

Started making runs to this place while working for a highly reputable photographer in the West Village. There is a reason the players go here. They understand name recognition and customer service. More so, if your a regular like me they treat you as a valued customer, not a dollar sign. Always polite and like a bartender at a local dive, they know exactly what I want. I’ve been taking my own work there ever since. It’s a bit pricey but they know their stuff when it comes to dedicated film processing of test rolls and push/​pulls. My only grip is that I went down there today to make a drop off and they were closed about 45 minutes early. It bummed me out, but when your trying to make a business out of what is becoming a dying art, I understand if you have to cut a few corners on payroll or let everyone go early for a long holiday. Either that or they need to open a lab out in Flatbush. Until then I’ll still be glad to take my film here. Just call first.

I used to use another local lab until someone recommended LTI, I haven’t used anyone else since! They take really good care of your negatives (no stains, fingerprints, or marks like some places I’ve used). The staff is super friendly and the turnaround for processing is really quick (usually a couple hours).

Fast, but not terribly cheap 120 mm film processing. You pay for what you get though. Your prints will never look better. Do great digital transfers also!

i have been shooting 35 mm film quite a bit lately and have tried several labs around the city to find the best fit for me. i love LTI. they are quick, affordable, friendly and consistent.

I shoot medium and large format bw and slide. These guys always ask when I bring in my film backs, they know their dev times and chemistry, and are totally professional. I took them a roll I had shot that expired in 78′ and they had no problem running it. Their 120 scans look good, very little dust on the neg/​slide, and I am trusting them with my 4×5 slides for scanning.

Courteous and fast service, but they did not honor a special request I made (which meant I lost a film spool of a type that is not manufactured anymore) and the quality of prints were less than stellar.

Great pro lab. Does a great job.
