Best sandwiches in Ridgewood!!! I live only a block away so I am always here. Timmy is so friendly and knows everyone by name and everyone knows Timmy. Whenever any new tenants move into my house I always point them to Timmy and they all love him and the store. Awesome beer selection and the Philly cheesesteak is the best I ever had! You can also message Timmy on FB and order! You need to check this place out you won’t regret it.

Ridgewood has tons of delis, but this is my FAVE. The owner is extremely nice, helpful and warmly welcomed me to the area last Spring 2014. I have been a frequent client since, and LOVE that it’s less than 1 block away. Great sandwiches, decent, nicely-​priced sundries selection, and while I’m not a beer enthusiast, I admire their extensive selection which hipsters from as far as Bushwick travel for. If he doesn’t have fresh coffee at 4pm, he’ll brew a fresh pot immediately. «No, no, that’s not necessa…» and there he goes, filling up the carafe with water!
I recently asked Tim about ginger beer and within seconds he took out the beer supplier catalog and got to work; I’m happy to report that his is the ONLY local deli which now carries ginger beer. His wife, by the way, is as lovely as Tim is – very helpful and quick with a smile.
Tim is such a generous, WISE businessman: he takes good care of his customers, which translates into increased sales, REFERRALS and positive social media reviews like this one. Case in point, after inquiring about an iced tea brand, he suggested a better-​tasting one… ON THE HOUSE! Such generosity prompts me to purchase essentials there, rather than nearby KeyFood.
Oh, and I agree about large organic tea and teapot selection – at first I found it quirky, then Tim explained that he carries what his customers like. Excellent attitude!

Great sandwiches, maybe the best around. Cheap, good tasting breakfast sandwiches, and organic teas. I know. Strange for a bodega but they do taste good. And the guy in there Tim is better than anyone in recent history. Good food, great personality, and tiny store! But I’ll take that for a good sandwich!

I recently moved to Ridgewood, and aside from my landlord, Timmy, the owner of Lotus gave me the first and biggest welcome to the neighborhood. When I told him about the rat in my apartment, he promptly provided me a trap — free of charge.
The shop carries a little bit of everything — and if it’s not there, Timmy makes it a point to get it.
I highly recommend. The bodega is a mainstay in the neighborhood.

The best deli in the Ridgewood/​Bushwick area period!
My boyfriend and I moved to the area in January and quickly frequented Lotus Deli because of convenience. But became devoted regulars because of the wonderful customer service. The owner is a kind hearted genuine man. Not to mention he CARES about his customers and will cook you a huge delicious sandwich for under 6 bucks.
I get coffee there every morning. He will make a new pot if it is not to my liking. And he started supplying half and half for coffee when I requested it.
When it comes to beers he has a great selection of micro brews. I especially love the Brooklyn Brewery selection.
When my family was in town he treated them like royalty.
I am such a loyal customer because of the customer service and friendship I have developed with Timmy.
I also feel safe living a block away knowing he’s there surveying his cameras.
I would NEVER go to another Bodega in Ridgewood!

Tiny little deli that was super hot inside but the guy working there was nice enough (hence the extra star). They do also carry ice cream (as a sign outside tells you) & it’s very easy to find in there. Might be more comfortable inside outside of heat wave days in the summer months.

Went in for some cold cuts, but the machine was broken. Seemed like a nice enough place though.
