In Chelsea Market, the food options are an embarrassment of riches, even the vegan options, which are usually a deciding factor. I was torn between Beyond Sushi, which I’d actually come to the market for, and LOLO Organics, which I’d never had but which looked intriguing. Wanting to be open to new adventures, I leaned toward LOLO and looked over their prepared salad case, but the clear boxes weren’t labeled to give any indication, beyond eyeballing it, of what was inside. Never fear: the guy behind the counter took the time to come over and walk me through each one, emphasizing how much he personally loved the taco salad. Sold. The taco salad is on a bed of mesclun greens, and the main focus is a generous portion of walnut-based taco«meat.» It comes with a hearty dollop of vegan sour cream, and is accented by a slice of mango and a slice of avocado. Mixed together, these flavors are delightful. It may have benefited from something a little more liquid, like a salsa dressing, but it was fine on its own. Do note that, as with any food stand at Chelsea Market, if you’re there during peak meal times, seating is scarce. I followed the lead of several other casual diners and took a seat on the broad industrial stairs leading down into the food court where LOLO and Beyond Sushi both are. Other diners perched on window ledges, while a lucky few found the rare tables in the main hallway. In other words, if you’re unconcerned with improvising seating, or if you’re looking for grab-and-go, this place is pretty much perfect. Enjoy!

As a frequent visitor and promoter of this shop since it opened, I think my review is probably long overdue. I am consistently impressed by their staff, who are as friendly as they are knowledgeable. They are always quick to make a suggestion or explain the benefits of their various products or engage in a conversation about vegan foods. Note that although I have made a concerted effort in the last year to eat more whole foods, I am not a vegan. Even still, I find their food so delicious that I don’t miss the animal products. I’ve tried almost all salads, nearly all of the previous generation smoothies and a few juices. All are flavorful, fresh and pretty consistent in quality. I work nearby and typically get something for breakfast or lunch at least every other day. Recently I’ve started having the avocado smash toast for breakfast. This, like other dishes, is something that I enjoy so much that I’ve taken to making it at home. The ceviche-inspired coconut bowls were also fantastic but short-lived. Which brings me to my one criticism(and fear) — that their constantly changing menu and somewhat consistent issues with supply will mean that they never establish regular clientele like myself and end up closing. I shop a lot of their competitors and am confident that they have some of the most creative and tasty offerings around, but they gotta figure out operations if they hope to survive!

Even amidst the raw, organic, cold-pressed juice craze, this place is staggeringly expensive($ 13 for a drink). They’re tasty creations, but just not worth THAT much. I preferred the Green Lantern over the Beauty Tonic, but either way, I would never come back here again for juice. Not when I can go to the juice bar two blocks from my apartment that sells almost the same creation at a bigger size for less than $ 7.

Bought a Taco Salad for my lunch today. And I have to say this salad will be the one that I’ll be comparing to any other vegan taco salad i will ever have again. Creamy Vegan Sour cream and the finger-licking good Taco Meat were on point! I was literally caught licking the bowl clean at work. Can’t wait to taste new products on the line. My only recommendation. You guys NEED to put some tortilla chips in there to add some crunch. Ain’t no Taco’s without some Chips!

I was just in your shop. The dude who was working there finished plastic wrapping tubs before asking me what I would like. Then took his sweet time making it. Then played on Snapchat without looking up at me as I paid. If this is the sort of service you guys are giving all your customers, you’ll go the way of Lucky Duck. No one is going to paid $ 13 for juice and be ignored. Just a heads up.

The food I have had here is very good 1) when it doesn’t take forever to be made and 2) when it is in stock. For the second time in a week, I visited LOLO to get oatmeal, almond butter, and maple syrup with banana. Both times, 3 out of those 4 ingredients were sold out. 3 out of 4!!! It is 10am on a Monday, how is this possible? I will not be returning :( Edit: I did return again… they were still out of oatmeal and all of the other ingredients. A nice guy there said that he would be meeting with managers to find a new vendor for their products…

Amazing juices– a friend and I split a Beauty Tonic, which was perfect– and great atmosphere. I loved their free samples(what an idea!) and pricing-wise, it wasn’t bad, for New York!

Great juice place in Chelsea market! Their juices super healthy and make you feel great. The last few times I’ve been there I’ve ordered acai smoothies with almond butter which is a great snack. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

This place easily gets five stars for having something called«Thin Mint Smoothie» that is healthy and delicious. A little expensive but completely worth it — not something you’ll find very many places.

Amazing Acai Bowl! You get to pick three toppings and they have a wonderful organic variety. I recommend the peanut butter, coconut granola, and banana. The acai base is not too sweet and the toppings were fresh.

This place is amazing! Definitely the best vegan place I’ve found in NYC. After I run on the Westside Running Path, I usually drop by LOLO’s and get a smoothie as post-workout refuel. The Frozen Hot Chocolate is just heavenly. The Acai bowls are really great as well because you have to option to pick and choose what toppings you want. The great thing about this place is that they use their own, homemade cashew milk in their smoothies which is a dream because(1) let’s face it, it tastes soooooo much better than almond milk and(2) I have a slight intolerance to almonds and don’t want to drink all the fat from coconut milk(yes, yes I know about the differences in coconut fat but it is still important to consume only in moderation). Another plus is that it is located in Chelsea Market, so I always find an excuse to pop in then shop around when I’m in the area.

Came here with a friend the other day and absolutely loved it! I made my own açai bowl and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff plus an amazing smoothie menu. I’ll definitely try one next time! Thanks for the great service :)

Went to Chelsea Market and stumbled upon this place after my workout. Not only do they carry amazing smoothies but they are 100% Organic and Vegan. The staff was really nice and explained what ingredients were in each smoothie. I decided to get the Beauty Tonic which was very delicious and refreshing. I also had a little bit of the Thin Mint, for all those Girl Scout cookie lovers it tastes exactly like the cookie, maybe even better, and healthier of course. But this place isn’t only known for their smoothies, they also have quick organic meals you can order. Would definitely come here again.

So I was strolling by Chelsea Market the other day and happened to find myself in need of some quick food. I opened the door into the market and the first thing I saw was LOLO. It looks healthy, fresh, and inviting, so I figured I’d give it a try. I ended up having their frozen hot chocolate shake and it was absolutely incredible. Now, I am not vegan, but I do appreciate quality healthy fresh ingredients and LOLO delivered on all of the above. Plus it’s organic! I was 100% satisfied and was able to go about my business, feeling satisfied, healthy and happy. If you are ever in need of some quality fresh food/shakes/drinks in the Chelsea area, definitely hit up LOLO.

I wanted to go to a pure vegan take-out restaurant so I went to Lolo in the meatpacking district in NYC. An amazing restaurant! Their smoothies are hands down the best! They make it right in front of you. I had the«Thin Mint» which is an organic version of chocolate mint and a sweet potato burger. They were both delicious!

Great organic take out in this area. Very quick service. Definitely a place to try if you are a smoothie fan. I would recommend the«Lolochino» which is a coffee based smoothie and the moc and cheese was good, too.

I used to love this place but it’s really fallen off recently. I got hooked on their veggie burgers but the last time I ordered one I was told that they are rebranding and no longer serve hot food. WHY? Now it’s a bunch of prepackaged cold food and decent smoothies that take forever to order. The only way I’m coming back is if they change their menu back to the original offerings. Avoid if you can.

Don’t go here unless you have no where else to be. They need to step up their game or they will lose customers. The store is totally empty and I waited 15 minutes for a smoothie, no exaggeration. Also, they decided to discontinue the raw foods they used to sell and exchange it for rabbit food, that frankly I wouldn’t even feed to my imaginary rabbit. *shakes head* Like the previous guy said, «what the hell happened?»

Beauty tonic is so refreshing and delicious even though the color of the beverage is not. Must try!
