Little Marc Jacobs

A mist visit… Very sweet! I absolutely love Marc Jacobs and this shop does not disappoint! All the clothes are so cute! The setting is a must visit!

I honestly couldn’t really decide if the items at this Little Marc Jacobs store were overpriced or not. $ 6 for a pair of baby socks seemed pretty reasonable to me… especially since they were super cute. However, the onesies were overpriced and none of them really impressed me in terms of design. All the stuffed animals were overpriced as well… but I just couldn’t believe that they were selling socks for $ 6 a pair, even if the babies will grow out of it after just a few months.

Cute Store. Decided to check it out for my nephew who’s expected to come into the world next month. The selections are really cute and adorable and of course it does come with a price as well. If you’re rich, wrap your firstborn with some luxury designer clothing lol

«Kids» — say that word to me two months ago and my mind would immediately shift to singing one of my favorite MGMT songs… End of Convo…
…but it’s funny how love changes you… really finding that person who makes the picture of your life complete can force you to reevaluate your goals and dreams.
Then one morning your looking at your partner sleep and you realize they are the most beautiful person you’ve ever seen.
This happened to me. I thought of how cool he is, how I love the way his eyes crinkle when he laughs, how his heartbeat is the last song I hear when I rest… and the ice of my selfish heart cracked permanently.
So last Sunday afternoon when I looked at my beloved dancing drunk off caipirinha’s, in front of the Little Marc store with a man dressed up in a giant rat costume I thought: He’s really crazy… and I want our kid to be exactly the same way.
He beckoned me to come inside the store and we skimmed through the racks adorned with frills and bursts of magenta and orange. Little mouse shoes for her? A black raincoat for him? And maybe I could carry a baby bag… if it’s that beautiful shade of Coral with gold clasps.
Rainbow Beaded sandals, and Electric Blue suede suits… the colors and feel of innocence and optimism. Bright colors made me nostalgic of brighter days… when being a grown up seemed a million years away and I didn’t know real pain.
Can you start new making this little replica of him and you? Give them all your goodness and buy a new world with skirts that catch the wind when they spin, story books about sushi, sunglasses that match mommy, daddy and them…
I’m not sure, I’m not sure about a lot of things. And we won’t be ready for a very long time, but one day we will, one day we’ll know enough to get it right.
One day a little hand will skim through the fabric and folds, chose their favorite clothes for school, family vacations, and play dates with friends.
Laugh his laugh, grin his grin, hold my hand while I hold his… a future that needs no prediction but much preparation that’s not quiet ready yet.
Honestly until then I’m content being on the outside of the glass looking in.

Clothes for babies to 12 years old, and the boys jackets/​sweatshirts fit my galpal and I (23!) as well as shoes, toys, and accesories. Allow the shopgirls to play dress up with you and your little ones as you play with the store’s resident puppy.
