Lovely little café. Very friendly owner. I got a large lentil soup and it tasted absolutely fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

Really awful service. I’m vegan and gluten-free and I ordered the vegan chicken with artichoke sandwich, but wanted it as a salad with mixed greens(as opposed to bread)… Not sure why that was so hard to understand, or why it was that much of an impertinence, but he visibly rolled his eyes and seemed quite pissed. Then, I ordered my vegan smoothie and wanted banana in it instead of papaya. Again, eye roll with no words spoken. I watched him put the whey protein powder in(contains dairy) and told him that I wanted the plant-based protein powder, as I just assumed that’s what would’ve come in it? Now I felt the vibes of hatred from him and wanted to leave immediately for being just SO annoying apparently. If you run a café and advertise vegan/gluten-free options, you should not be so obnoxiously annoyed when someone with dietary restrictions wants to 1. Know what is in their meal and 2. Makes substitutes for things to fit their desires. I paid $ 15 for a meal I was not happy with, had a bad experience, and will not be returning.

I ordered the Veggie Skinny Lady Pizza on Seamless and it came to a total of $ 14.96(tax, tip and delivery charge). It came about 15 minutes before the projected time and the delivery guy was really nice. The pizza was great. I’m gluten-free and dairy-free, so it was a nice treat to have pizza, because I normally can’t. The pizza was delicious(it had marinera, pesto sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms, and other veggies on top) and had six slices, but was definitely smaller than an actual round pizza. However, it was definitely filling and more than enough for one person!

The worst red velvet vegan cupcake in cupcake history. No chocolate flavor whatsoever on the cake. The edge was extremely dry that it was hard to peel the paper out. So the paper was stuck in the cake. The topping blah. So you basically eat cooked flour and sugar. A $ 3 cupcake vegan cupcakes can do better than this. This is like insulting.

I discovered Little Atlas two years ago and it’s always been amazing! The vegan sandwiches are all delicious; my go to is the artichoke vegan chicken on multigrain. I think they recently added some more dessert options. Try it out!

It’s a grab-and-go place for sure. Though there are a couple of seats on the side, don’t expect to sit as it’s usually too crowded anyway. I’ve had their lentil chili and Moroccan Grilled Chicken salad – both so beyond delicious and for incredibly reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and the food is really great. I can’t wait to try one of their cookies next!

Couldn’t leave without their Death By Chocolate– it looked so tasty! Boy was I disappointed. They must have used peanut butter in the frosting. The cake to frosting ratio wasn’t even, the cake was tough, and lacking in chocolate flavor. I’ve had better vegan desserts at Red Bamboo– now, their Death By Chocolate is really so good you’d be forgiven for mistaking it for being otherwise.

Literally a closet-sized shop, Little Atlas has some of the best vegan options around. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced, especially on s student budget! One if my favorites is the vegan BBQ chicken sandwich, as a panini on multigrain bread. The service is quick and the sandwiches and flavorful, very yummy and healthy. I will definitely be back here all the time. The cookies have been calling to me…

I went in excited about a café where I could grab something vegetarian friendly and I was met with an unfriendly attitude from the gentleman who was behind the counter. I said hello and he did not respond. He didn’t ask if he could help me he just continued to go about his business. I then asked him about a particular ingredient and he rolled his eyes. I asked him was I bothering him and he just looked at me. I then asked if I was wasting his time and if he had any time to make me a panini. He rudely replied no that he didn’t have time to help me. I was the only customer and it’s a Saturday so clearly he had time. I guess he was having a bad day, and decided to take it out on me. I would’ve loved to check out what this café had to offer but unfortunately I wasn’t given the opportunity.

Incredible little hole in the wall right by the NYU campus. The staff is always extremely friendly and they have a great selection of wraps, sandwiches, etc. I ways opt for the whole wheat peanut butter bagel($ 2), but I’ve had a few of their wraps as well and I have yet to be disappointed. Additionally, their vegan cookies are INCREDIBLE. A bit on the pricey side($ 3.25?), but they’re huge and they taste amazing. I love the chocolate chip, oatmeal banana, and peanut butter. A great place for a quick lunch! I highly recommend!

I came here as a vegan because a lot of other reviewers mentioned the extensive offerings for people with plant-based diets. Come to find that the sandwich section doesn’t open until lunchtime, which was what I was in there for. Not having time to stop at another café, I ordered a 12 oz. peach-lychee smoothie with bee pollen as an add-on that came out to around $ 6. The employee asked me what my order was and didn’t let me finish before ringing me up. The add-on ended up having to go on another receipt, and even though it was clearly her fault, she looked a little annoyed that she had to ring me up twice. The smoothie was not good — tasted bland in a watery way, with a lot of ice. The smoothie area was pretty crowded with people placing orders, so maybe the regulars know the better smoothies to be ordering? Either way, if I’m ever back in NYC, I’ll be going to a different café. 1.5 stars

The food prep isn’t ways 100% on point, but I can’t help but love this joint as one of my east village go-tos. As a vegetarian(and sometimes vegan) the menu is staggering! Especially for those of us looking for healthy choices with some meat(If you’ll forgive my saying) to them. Perfect for spring summer outdoor seating for lunch or just some of their delicious(vegan!) pastries. Super small though, so seating is never guaranteed.

I’ve been visiting Little Atlas several times each week for over three years. They have an excellent selection of healthy(and no-so-healthy!) items. Their sandwiches and omelets taste great and are a great value. You can ask them to prepare them however you’d like with any of the many ingredients available. Beware, however, that the place is literally the size of a walk-in closet. If there are more than three customers there, it will feel very crowded!

I’ve tried a variety of their vegan desserts(cookies, brownies, and cupcakes, to be exact) and I’ve generally been pleased. The peanut butter cookie here is one of my favorite desserts, though the mandarin white chocolate cookie is a close second. I’ve also tried some of their sandwiches. I highly recommend the London & The Cubano(anything with avocado and Swiss cheese is delicious in my book). This place is tiny but convenient enough to grab a meal before class/work.

Went to Little Atlas Café as a last minute effort to grab some morning food, when I was greeted by a very unhappy couple of dudes. I ordered their protein smoothie. It’s drinkable, but not that drinkable! I have confidence in the place: it could be pretty nice, and has a great location. For now, the smoothie tastes too sweet and a little strange, and the service did NOT want to be there(understandable at 6:00AM, not quite so at 9:15). All in all, protein smoothie made me sigh, but I’d like to try the whoopie pie.

Came here to order a sandwich and the guy behind the counter provided some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I know this is New York and everything, but damn, this place knows how to insult its customers. After asking for a sandwich on a baguette, the guy said they were out. My friend didn’t hear what he said and preceded to order a sandwich on a baguette, upon which the dude snarls, «I’M NOTGOINGTOSAYITAGAINMAN, WEDON’T HAVEANYBAGUETTESLEFT.» Ummm…RUDE. Needless to say, this institution did not get our money and will never get our money. Note to Atlas Café: if you want your business to be successful, tell your employees to learn some basic manners.

I’ve only come here for coffee and pastries so far. This place is super tiny and can run out of baked goods depending on when you get there. The coffee is pretty good and they make it quickly. They also deliver, I’ve ordered coffee and snacks from here while in the area before. The vegan whoopie pies are awesome, they’re my go-to treat. Huge and very soft, they taste fresh and you can choose from pumpkin or chocolate. I do want to try their sandwiches, they have a ton of vegan and vegetarian options. The sandwiches seem a little pricey though, $ 7 – 8 so I haven’t convinced myself to pick one up yet.

Biiiig fresh sandwiches AHOY! I’ve been here for lunch a couple of times and got hooked on the salmon and avocado. Each lunch sandwich comes with a choice of bread. I recommend shelling out just a little extra for the multigrain: encrusted with sunflower seeds, it adds that little extra something that makes a sandwich truly delightful. All ingredients are fresh and naturally colorful – no pale iceberg lettuce or barely blushing tomatoes in sight. Also, no credit card minimum.

I can’t get over how many options this place has while being in such a small, cozy space! There are endless options for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores. It’s perfect for NYU students since it’s right near stern. It’s also affordable and delicious. I have no complaints!

I’ve been here several times. Small shop in the wall but you can walk in to order. Great sandwiches and lots of vegetarian options, in fact I thin it’s mostly vegan. BTW their $ 3 vegan cookies are amazing, I like the choco-chip especially.

Not my favorite vegan meal on our NYC trip, but it was a good spot to pick up lunch if you’ve got somewhere to eat it. I thought Atlas Café was pretty small, then we stumbled on the aptly named Little Atlas. Polished off a vegan BBQ sandwich without complaint followed by a tasty Vegan Treats dessert. For being such a tiny place, they seem to have a pretty extensive menu to choose from. Good enough to grab a bite if in the area, but not worth a special trip.

I came here because I wanted to try something else during lunch other than going down St. Marks. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was okay. It is kinda odd they microwave everything, but I don’t blame them considering the place is really just a hole in the wall.

Chocolate vegan cookie: da bomb! Don’t want to know how many calories is in the ish though. Super small version of the bigger place on Second ave. hence, «Little» Atlas. Staff is cool, I guess. Manager is pretty personable.
