The pork jerky is the best, and I found it to be juicier and tastier than the beef jerky. Although the shop itself is nothing special, the service was good. I only wish it to be cheaper as I spent $ 30 on just a pound of jerky.

This is the best beef jerky I have ever had. Seriously. It is melt in your mouth. You will want to weave a blanket of this. It is better then any beef jerky you have every had in your life. If you are a vegetarian, you wont be any longer. Must must check out.

I walked past and saw this place in the corner of my eye, and decided to go in and try some. OMG, I addicted and can’t get enough. The spicy beef, and spicy pork jerky is amazingly delicious and fresh. They will also allow you to try some before you buy it. It’s sad, because I keep spending money I don’t have lol

A Jerky that is nice! And delicious This small little shop offers various flavored jerky in little squares and is a perfect little treat as you are walking around the neighborhood. They have beef, spicy beef, chicken, shrimp etc and they all look and smell so good as you walk into the shop. It is a really small shop also and you can barely fit two people in there. I got the regular beef flavored jerky which was a sweet syrupy BBQ flavor. It was incredibly delicious with every bite. The jerky was moist and not tough to bite at all and tasted extremely fresh. The lady who worked the counter was so nice and friendly. This was over all a great experience and highly suggest people stop by if they are in the neighborhood. In short: — Delicious jerky — friendly staff

A hidden gem in the eastern edge of Chinatown. Very savory. But I think $ 5 is a bit pricy for 3 slice(about ¼ pound) of jerky.

What is this sorcery? These are amazing! We came thinking it was regular olé’ jerky, but I guess Malaysian jerky is very different! It’s not at all dry. In fact, when you rip it apart with your fingers, it’s quite sticky from the sugary coating. It’s quite juicy and sweet, quite surprising because it is in fact meat. I feel like these should be stored in the fridge if you’re going to bring them home. The shop is a tiny hole in the wall place and it looks super family-owned. It’s not a fancy place, but their jerky is a must-try!

It says Malaysia Beef Jerky on the façade, so it isn’t rare to have people accidentally review a nearby establishment instead of this one. This is the actual best jerky in the world.

Best jerky in Chinatown! Much better than the Elizabeth St store. Spicy pork is my favorite!

Cash only location with the best jerky — pork and beef. Nothing much to say other than«Woohoo! As good as it gets!» because I can’t imagine jerky getting better than this. It’s juicy, tender, spicy, sweet. So much flavor packed with that classic jerky texture. Pro Tip: Do note that leaving it in your cupboard in an attempt to elongate your enjoyment does not work. Maybe it’ll keep well if you refrigerate? Or, listen to your instincts and just pig out and eat all of it.

Apparently good beef jerky is not available around Chicago, making it a nice gift to bring back from NYC. Ling Kee’s is located a bit far from where I usually am in Chinatown, so I end up walking several blocks down canal to get there — I think it’s worth it. Ling Kee’s is pretty good, a bit still on the chewy side but not overly tenderized. It’s also got a nice smoky/grilled flavor to it which I don’t recall Ping’s having. The owner is nice and I was offered some vacuum sealed jerky, which made traveling with it a lot easier. Last FYI — cash only!

I literally wanted to cry when I tried this jerky for the first time. Actually, I think I might have really cried. I had the pork jerky. It was amazingly delectable – juicy, mouth-watering, succulent. I don’t know what else to say except that this is pretty much the perfect food.

Phenomenal. Amazing texture, perfect combination of spice and irresistible enough to make you wanna come back for seconds. Slightly surprised though by how expensive it was for this area. A couple peices of jerky add up to more than you may think. Worth EVERY penny though.

$ 20 for a whole pound of juicy beef jerky. Their jerky is a little too sweet for my liking but the spicy one balances it out a little.

AMAZINGJERKY. Yes it is further away from the usual Chinatown area but it’s definitely worth it. Far better than the one you get in packages. Customer Service is wonderful too, the owner is really friendly. They’re made fresh, you can see from the store front of them making it. They’re so good, juicy and have so much flavor. I love the spicy one, they don’t taste spicy when you just bite into it, you would thought it’s sweet but then it kicks in.

Wow the the pork jerky is delicious! It has that awesome sweet roast pork flavor. This is not the usual dried out tough as hell jerky that you get. This stuff is soft and easy to chew. Full of flavor deliciousness. The little Shop is nothing to look at but it’s a great place to try something a bit different. Ten dollars gets you a nice pile of jerky.

About a 3.5: Ling Kee Beef Jerky is located off of Canal St in Chinatown. They have been around for about 12 years, and the lady in there was nice and very straightforward. They had different square-shaped jerkies that looked quite scrumptious(the color and the glaze looked quite amazing). I had 1 of their regular beef and 1 of their spicy pork. The regular beef one was okay, but was more on the sweeter side. I preferred the latter, as the spicy pork had a nice kick to it and was more savory than sweet. They supposedly make these fresh everyday, but they do warm it up a few seconds in the microwave for you, before putting it in the brown bag. Don’t let the grease soaking through the bag scare you off — it actually doesn’t taste greasy! If you like jerky, check this place out — I highly recommend the spicy pork! :D +spicy pork jerky
