Love this place! Gel manicures are only $ 22 and pedis are $ 15. They always do a really great job and the place is very clean. Definitely my fave neighborhood nail salon.

This place is solid! Got a fill here for $ 18 and they look awesome. No complaints!(PS they take cards for no additional charge which is nice!)

Friendly but quiet service. Not fancy but good service. No waiting. Reasonable prices with lots of choices. Seems like they have lots of repeat customers. My daughter, sister and I visit every time I come to NYC. Dependable with lots of options.

This should be a 3.5 instead, but I’ll throw in an extra .5 just because Unilocal!made me. My friends all go here, so I decided to try this place out. Gel manicure is $ 20, WHAT A STEAL! I wanted a white/gold design but the esthetician warned me that the white would turn yellow. I’m so glad he told me instead of just painting it on, kudos to you kind sir. The job itself I would give a 3.5÷5. Hey, you get what you pay for. It came out nice, but it could have definitely been a lot better. My nails grow quick so unfortunately I’m in due need of another gel manicure ASAP. Considering coming back one more time to see if this place is worth the 4 stars(damn you Unilocal!for not allowing half stars!)

I’ve been coming here for acrylic tips for years. There is no better quality for the price!

I got a pedicure here for $ 15. Nothing that blew me away, but they did an overall nice job. Definitely a decent experience for such a good price. Also they had a lumberjack contest on the TV which is infinitely more entertaining that most of the crap they play in salons(for me at least). Only issue is that the place didn’t seem too terribly clean to me which always makes me just a little uneasy.

They do a really good job with gel nails for a decent price. Great selection of colors and timely service.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Worst pedicure ever and not sure how clean it is either… I used to work at a spa and have been so many places to get my nails done, expensive and cheap alike. However, cheap does not mean shitty. Do not come here, it’s not worth your hard earned money!!!

Eyebrows.awesome. The only issue I have is that they definitely double dip the stick when waxing… also wax is sometimes too hot and burns… Gel manicure… Not so much. Mine chipped in 3 days, when I brought it up to management they wouldn’t acknowledge it. I have however gone back twice more for a regular mani/pedi and find that these last longer then gel.weird.

I went a couple of weeks ago based on a friends recommendation. It was good. Quick service and the gel manicure looked great! And you can’t be the price! It lasted a full two weeks with no chips. I could have left it on longer if it weren’t for the new nail growth. The only reason I’m not giving it a five star is because the ambiance/location wasn’t the best, but not bad.

This place offers rushed service that lacks attention to detail. The nail technicians so not take the time to push your cuticles back, clean under your nail, and cut cuticles properly. I will not be back.

If you’re looking for the world’s worst gel manicure, look no further. After an extensive wait in an establishment who’s ambiance is akin to a county jail holding cell, I receive a gel manicure from a woman who used super hot uv lights that I accidentally burned my hand on. After she finished, I took a look at my manicure and it was riddled with air bubbles, streaks and even a piece of hair! When I asked her to fix it, she seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. To her credit, I honestly don’t think she could actually see very well and was super nice and patient. It was fixed as best it could be, I guess? When I got home I noticed the gel was bleeding over onto my cuticles and nail beds. The gels started peeling after a week. I guess you get what you pay for.

Yikes. I have no idea how this place got good reviews. I did a mani/pedi and was rushed through them both. I even got a nice chunk taken out of my toe due to overzealous curticle trimming. I will not be going back.

for a $ 18 mani/pedi, it really is pretty good. the service gets a lil rushed when the place is busy… but even still its a superior place when is comes to the cheap mani/pedi competition. pretty decent massage for legs and hands. good selection of polishes. massage chairs that work! so its def worth the money!

The best mani pedi I ever had in NY. And for only $ 18. Such a steal! And the quality of service was surprisingly great. My nails didn’t chip one bit for almost two weeks. That is unthinkable with my record for having chipped nails. Plus, I got a nice massage from the spa chair AND a foot/leg massage from the nail technician during my pedicure for NO extra hidden charges. Lilysa totally won me. It’s not the fanciest of places; just your typical, vietnamese nail salon, where it looks more like a home than a spa, but the services are so reasonably priced it’s easy to overlook the overall appearance of the place. Wish I could come back here more often, but Greenpoint is just. so. far. from me… at least I’ll have a reason to visit the neighborhood again for a nice, clean, cheap mani pedi.

For someone who can’t manage to not chip my manicure by at least Day 2 or 3, I always go for value above all when getting my nails did. In NYC, I refuse to pay more than $ 10 for a manicure, yet I’m also a little finicky in that I want my nails to look good(read: nail polish goes all the way to the cuticle, no bubbles, no «painting outside of the lines,» etc.) Well, Lilysa delivered in that regard. The place is cheap. $ 18 for a decent mani-pedi. Because it’s so new, the place was clean, not grimy like some of the other bargain-basement nail places in the ‘hood. I would go back. That could change depending on what happens to my nails in a few days. But, so far, I’m a fan!
