I normally only review places I love, but I think this might have been the worst service I’ve received for years! I’m a big fan of the LPQ, but this was terrible! They took forever to take our order. Then forever to serve it. Then they served it at different times. The soup was cold. I asked three times for butter, twice for a knife and once for a spoon. The bill took even longer to come and they forgot to serve our drink, but charged us for it! Unreal.

Came in and it was a super busy breakfast – seemed understaffed. However, I had lots of questions and the manager Sorea was really lovely. She helped guide me through the vegan items even when it was hectic. She was quick and polite and totally took care of me. Must go and try the carrot cake – it is awesome.

My husband & I have been stopping in at LPQ since they first opened their doors so we have enjoyed lots of breakfasts there. In the past year we ate there more often in the early morning. Anyway, I like the seating, if it is not rush hour, as you get space between customers as the large long tables allow you to «space» your seating Yourself. You are also invited to sit where you please. Love that. Also, I must mention a very special member of the staff Raey D. Efficient, smart & wants you to enjoy your time there. She is a great ambassador for LPQ! E.

The first time I went to LPQ, I was in Brussels, Belgium. Even though it was a little pricey there too, I remember how fluffy the scrambled eggs were and how fresh the lox was. The service was also super nice and accommodating. I’ve always had a good opinion of this chain, until now. I wasn’t expecting Per Se level execution, but jeez, no one at this place even pays attention to you! I arrived at 2PM on Sunday. My friend and I sat at the long, communal table as we were studying for exams and didn’t want to take up an actual table. Strike 1: It took our server ages to greet me. When she finally did, she noticed that my part of the table had crumbs on it and offered to wipe it down. It took her 10 minutes to do this. Then it took her another 5 – 10 minutes to grab me a menu, and another 10 minutes or longer to take my order(first, only a cold beverage). 25 – 30 minutes to even take an order is really pushing it. Later, I ordered a cappuccino and — same story. First she brought me the wrong menu(even though I said I wanted to see hot coffee drinks, she gave me the cold drink menu only) then it took her over 15 minutes to come back. I would understand this if the place was really busy, but it wasn’t. Strike 2: If it’s going to take you ages to take simple orders, at least get it right please. I ordered a large skim cappuccino. A small came out. She told me she’d give me a free refill for the error. Did that come out ever? Nope. I was going to order food but completely gave up as, if making a seltzer mixed with a little lemonade took forever, how long would constructing a sandwich take? Strike 3: Guess what a lemon seltzer with 10 pomegranate seeds in it and a small coffee cost me? $ 10.29. Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Not only that, but the pricing is very misleading. My friend ordered an oatmeal which very clearly stated one price on a blackboard, and they charged her over double the price and then blamed her for«misreading» the menu. What? I was on the same page she was. This makes no sense. FYI: the check came out way faster than anything we actually ordered. Super unwelcoming place. Probably not the vibes this restaurant wants to give off. Each of these issues in isolation is not a huge deal, but all together, they make for a very uncomfortable experience.

Fine place to sit when not too crowded(blizzard, Super Bowl, public health crisis, etc.). Bizarrely barely drinkable coffee for a coffee shop. If eating — or when negotiating with a soft boiled egg, which this franchise seems to think it invented — diners encounter preposterous, absurd, gratuitous salt and pepper dispensing objects which may raise terrifying existential questions but otherwise are good for nothing. This location has wonderful staff and respectable seating. Stay away from the others.

Great dining spot in soho. This particular location is big and has plenty of seating. The service is a tad bit slow so if you are in a hurry eat elsewhere. My personal favorites are the avocado toast, porridge and the soups. Not a big fan of the frittata. The last time I ordered that for breakfast it was over cooked and dry. You can always substitute bread for their buckwheat crackers. They are healthier and delicious. The assortment of jams and spreads on the communal table make for a good snack! Overall a tad bit pricey but good healthy food!

I’m usually a huge LPG fan, but I don’t recommend visiting this location. The waiters were snarky and service was terribly slow. They messed up the order and were out of staple menu items. We sat behind the register where they keep the tea/coffee and had the pleasure of watching one of the staff drop a tea bag on the floor, pick it up and put it back in the jar to serve to customers. Lastly the bathroom line was at least a 15 minute wait. Food was great though when we finally got it!

I would give 0 if that was an option! Because I work in the area I go often there for coffee, breakfast and lunch. This is a review only for the register in the front and the people behind it. It has been a few times that I was not able to pay with my app because apparently the register they use is not able to accept apps. They can’t use the second register when the manager is not around. I have to wait and wait and wait to even get s dimple coffee sometimes. This is the reason why I decided to never go back to that horrible place.

This LPQ location is very cute. Excellent healthy breakfast with a night, light and airy ambience. I had Chicken Mozzarella tartine which is beautiful presentation. The Belgian hot chocolate was also the wonderful but what really good about our visit is our sever Jirawat. He is very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful. The only negative thing about this location is long line for the restroom. One restroom for the big restaurant like this and 30 minutes waiting time. It is unbelievable !!!

I walked in with my son who uses a wheelchair when it was raining only to see stairs. It’s sad that this relatively new store could not figure out how to enable access for all. In any event, I recommend Balthazar a few blocks north on Spring street because it has better quality.

I went to a Le Pain Quotidian in Manhattan 3 years ago and had an amazing experience. At that time I didn’t bookmark the place and totally forgot the name. I had such an amazing organic bread experience and delicious mocha coffee that I always remembered it but couldn’t remember the name of the place. 3 years later I came to Manhattan again and found the name of the restaurant. While doing so o realized that there are several locations so I choose to go to the knee with better reviews on Unilocal, this one. Well, I must say that I am a little disappointed. I order the different organic breads and they took a long time to serve it. I thought I was going to get warm bread, but no, it was cold. Still tasted good though. My coffee was great. I also ordered a hard boiled egg, orange juice and a side of ricotta worth $ 6. Well, our server was really nice, but he kept forgetting our order so we didn’t get the orange juice until our food was almost over and we had the request the ricotta again. I would love to give one more star to this place, but I think the service could be a little better, and the food seemed like done without any effort. Also, we never got a plate, just a basket with our bread, so we ended up eating on napkins.

Delicious coffee, best in the city. That is if you know your coffee. If you are hungry and looking for something healthy and satisfying, get the autumn grain salad with their iced green tea sweetened with cinnamon agave.

Terrible service here. I’ve been waiting my order for 20 minutes already just for one mocha and one hot chocolate. Others came after me had their food before me. Really unbelievable place. Don’t know what they were busy for???

Avocado Toast is amazing!!! However the bakers lunch was disappointing. Also the waitress forgot my table. We have been waiting for 20 minutes for the check.

This place is a disaster. I am watching six people stand around talking about a customer who just left as I wait for over 5 mins just to place my order. Where is the management??? It is like children run this place.

I will terrible, terrible dirty things for excellent gazpacho. After riding multiple miles around the city with City Streets, I found myself slurping up gazpacho with the Baker’s Lunch. Highly recommend this location, even though the servers are not quite grounded in reality.

Stopped in for breakfast before heading to work. I wanted to order to go, but the one waitress working the room insisted that I sit at a table, and then proceeded to set the table as if I was staying. I ordered a bottle of water, which ended up costing $ 8, and a ham and Gruyère croissant. I waited 20 minutes for my croissant only to have to ask for it. When I finally received it, it was burnt and black on the top. Not only was it burnt, but it was late. A definite pass on this place for to-go food!

Maybe I just ordered the wrong items, but their organic hazelnut flûte was break-your-molars tough and their parents iced almond latte was very watered down and mediocre. Nice ambience inside though. Slow service.

The Quick: Although this restaurant is known in my family has the best hot chocolate in the world, it’s all about the atmosphere. The Details: Delicious food you feel good about eating with gorgeous Long Wood tables, communal seating, fresh flowers and attractive crowd. Not a dinner/date spot, but perfect for lunch, brunch, a cup of coffee, some bakery goods, or just people watching. The Damage: Yes it is a bit pricey, but it’s the kind of place you’d want to spend the afternoon pondering life and trying to make eye contact with the sexy bearded man across from you. Oh, and the food is great.

Fast and fresh food — both with a take-out counter in the front and a seat-yourself area(the long tables are communal — so dont be shy!). Our waitress was no-nonsense and friendly enough, but felt a little rough around the edges(I guess busy time at lunch will do that). I came with here with a new colleague — she had just a simple green salad and I ordered the veggie quiche with a salad. My salad was delicious and the quiche was perfectly warmed. It was a bit pricey($ 13.50) for the amount, but *shrugs* thats NYC for you.
