An outdoor café in Central Park by the lake! Trees, twittering birds, joggers, families, Tai chi practice– and you get a first row seat… with coffee and croissant! For what it is, it is perfect!
We wandered here on an early Saturday crisp late November morning and ordered a variety of simple breakfast items and coffees from the laid back kiosk. We then sat and munched and watched the leaves fall basically. The Croque Monsieur took a bit, but was piping hot and melty good! The others were more healthy and opted for yogurt parfaits that were deemed «fancy» with a little blackberry or two nestled in there.
We were surrounded by people, families and little birds and it was a nice place to start the day, surrounded by nature.

Great spot by the pond. Race a boat, then have a relaxed bite or drink under the shade trees. Kids and families mingle with singles and seniors. It’s a lovely spot for a relaxed moment.
