Very possibly the absolute worst manicure I have ever had in my life. The tools are so unbelievably dirty and rusty it’s hard to believe. It took two girls to get my previous gel manicure off and they did it wrong and ripped off one of my nails in the process while also taking the rest off with an old metro card. I truly wish I could give no stars because they were overall incompetent at their jobs.

Wasn’t the best pedicure, but it was very good for what it cost($ 18). Included a short exfoliation, short foot & shoulder massage, and all the basic pedicure things. I got there right at opening and the owner was already working on someone so I had to wait about 10 minutes for another employee but it really wasn’t a big deal. Took a star off because there were some flies– not a big deal but could have done without. Also they didn’t have any sparkly colors. Not a deal breaker, but I had gone in wanting gold sparkles. Still happy with what I got though!

This was a last minute walk in. The place isn’t the fanciest, but had obvious cleaning procedures in place. My technician worked very quickly but precisely. The end product looked great and it was only $ 9! Solid place if you’re looking for quick no frills. Color selection was not overwhelming and I found great in vogue colors(I chose«taupe-less beach»).

The staff overcut/hurt my finger(it bleeded), and as I take this picture it’s still red-ish. She did’nt apologize or give me a discount at all. It’s painful as I wash my hand. DEFINITELYNOTWORTHTHEMONEY. DON’T GOIFYOU’RELOOKINGFOR A PLEASANTEXPERIENCE. Also they use very old and worn tools that makes me feel un comfortable.

A+ for cost and efficiency, B+ for quality. $ 9.50 for a regular manicure. The manicurist was extremely quick, and my nails dried in about 10min under the fans. However, she left a lot of dead skin around the edges. A couple of nails had bald spots and bubbles, and I had to ask for a redo. After that, my nails lasted 3 whole days without chipping, which is not bad.

Good and clean place with good prices that gets the job done. Very small-only 2 mani desks and 3 pedi chairs so you can’t really come with friends. I got a regular pedi where they use a nice scrub and a gel mani for $ 43. Probably cheapest prices in the neighborhood. They also give you a quick shoulder massage when you dry your nails which no salon does anymore so this is a huge plus. They also have massage rooms in the back. Definitely worth checking out.

$ 36 for mani, pedi, best 10 min chair massage of your life, and razor callus. Seriously, ask for Donna. Won’t find nicer ladies in town

Great massage. I never pay for a massage and I only went because I got a gift certificate for a ½ hr massage. The massage was thorough and strong. It’s not the fanciest place but their massages are great. I even paid out of pocket for another half hour — which was $ 30 extra(not a bad rate for ny).

I went to this place a few times. It is SUPER cheap but not clean at all. The tools had rust on them and it was a little gross. The manicure I got was good quality but I was nervous I would develop some sort of fungus on my nails. I still hadn’t found a go-to nail spot yet and this was so cheap and next to my apartment so I went back. Now that I have finally found some new cleaner spots, I will not be coming back here again. If they just did a better job sanitizing it would be a great deal.

For $ 30 I got a great pedicure and callous removal. My feet were super soft when I left and the lady who gave me a pedicure was very nice.

actually had one of of the best mani/pedis i’ve ever had. First place ever doing a shellac pedi… it was 40.00 and that included a regular manicure. Novy did everything for me. I tipped her 8.00, so it was 50.00 total(2 extra for tip). It was well worth, because she also gave a very relaxing massage(feet, hands, and back). It was a wonderful, warm, friendly experience… someone had just gifted me a 120.00 pedicure last week… and in all honesty, this 50.00 experience was so much better. Sometimes i feel really guilty indulging in these kinds of things… but for some reason, i feel good about giving these people my money – I want them to have wonderful lives!!!

I went here for a manicure to tide me over in between my biweekly mani/pedis. 1) she missed the cuticles with the cuticle oil and aggressively pushed down my cuticles in the most painful manner 2) the tools are NOTCLEANED in between use. I saw the manicurist put the tools right into the UV light after pushing down my cuticles(she did not even wash off the ripped up cuticle on there…) 3) the manicure ISUNEVEN and bumpy. it does not cover the full nail and does not smoothly coat the nail. There are streaks as well. 4) during the manicure the manicurist bumped into one of my nails and attempted not to redo it. I asked her to redo it and she rushed through it and did not put on a bottom coat. 5) they didn’t have a place for my nails to dry so I had to use a fan… my friend who sat under the dryer did not get the 15 second massage that I got(I guess they forgot about her) 6) they did not have nail oil for after our nails were done. Please do not go. It in unsanitary, rushed, and poorly done.

You can’t beat this spot for a quick and cheap gel mani. If you can make it on a weekday before 3pm it’s $ 20! Donna was super fast and precise and even gave me an awesome neck rub while my top coat cured. I’ll be back!

This place is HORRENDOUS. I’m typing at home now with such an ugly gel manicure, ugly enough for me to want to hide my fingers. I’ve polish CURED all over my cuticles and uneven nail polish tones all over. My nails do not look smooth and look as if a 5 year old painted them for me. My pedicure was also horrible. The lazy woman who did my toes saw polish all over my skin and knew I needed one more coat as it was a sheer color, but didn’t do it. It wasn’t until my friend blatantly pointed out that my toes«were so ugly girl!» that someone else came to fix them for me. That resulted in me running and late and not being able to slip my feet into my own sandals. And the bitch who messed up my toes still had the nerves to charge me $ 3 for sandals? Well, here is a nice tip of $ 0. Be happy I even paid for this crap service. Oh, and even when seeing how upset I was and how ugly her sloppy job was, she didn’t even say sorry. For someone who scrubs feet all day, this woman sure has a crap load of pride.

I went in after seeing the sign for a $ 20 mani pedi outside. It’s small but cute and I will definitely be back. There is no massage chair, but that’s fine by me for the price. The ladies were sweet and attentive. The actual price was $ 21, not sure why the extra dollar was charged, but that’s my fault for not asking. I was happy to pay the extra buck because I was happy with the experience.

Another place within a two block radius from my apartment that I frequent so much that I forgot to Unilocal it. Don’t go here expecting a luxury spa. Go here expecting a great, deep tissue Asian massage. Don’t be afraid to speak up about how you like it. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Not to mention I only spend $ 50 for an hour. Coco runs the show, but Tina is awesome too.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. It’s a $ 20 mani/pedi in a no frills«mini salon.» It gets the job done. The women were all very friendly and work very hard. I even smudged my toe and she fixed it without me asking. There are two pedi stations and two nail stations. They also offer facials, massages and waxing. Not a bad option if you’re in the area and want a cheap, effective mani/pedi.

I’m baffled that this place has good reviews! I went for a mani and pedi and it took TWO solid hours! It was also the worst manicure I’ve ever received. The girl ripped out my cuticles and then poured polish remover on them, and of course it burned like crazy. I kept telling her to wipe it off but she wouldn’t. The polish was so uneven and lumpy, that another woman finally pushed her out of the way and took over. She wasn’t much better. My cuticles look worse than when I started and the polish looks awful. I kept trying to leave and they would then put more layers of clear polish on my nails and make me sit with a fan on them. They don’t have the quick dryers with a light, it’s a dollar store desk fan. AWFUL! Don’t go here!

I go to Lavender on a regular basis for a deep cleaning facial and 30 minute massage. The combo costs about $ 70 and is as good as any I’ve EVER had. Make sure to ask for your free eyebrow was with the facial! I will admit, the manicures and pedicures are not top notch, but the spa services are an AMAZINGVALUE.
