Pretty much the last designer house that didn’t have a store in New York has finally arrived. Lanvin opened its Madison Avenue Boutique back in July, however, rumors of having to shop by candle light due to an electric problem and no working air-conditioning kept me away till now. I don’t know what I was thinking, because the only thing that could have made my visit to Lanvin more pleasurable would have been the glow of candlelight! With a subtle Art Deco feel the five-story town house utilizes the first 3 floors to showcase all that we love from the house of Lanvin. From dresses, to jersey t-shirts, handbags and clutches(I love me a great Lanvin clutch) to their show stopping jewelry pieces, Lanvin is everything I wanted it to be and then some. Lanvin: A bigger and better fix then the Barneys mini-boutique!
