I went to him while I didn’t have insurance and a friend recommended me. He was nice, honest and does not over charge you. He’s also very quiet, does not BS much which is what I like about him. He doesn’t do wisdom tooth extraction which I found another great one afterwards. I now have insurance but I went to him for cleaning and filing. He does the job right and a honest doc so I had to at least come back and write him a good review even thou now i don’t go to c/town anymore and have insurance to go anywhere. :)

Great visit! I was the only patient booked for the time slot so I got undivided attention. It was a great deep clean, I had a stain on my tooth that I just assumed would be there forever and he got it out! Great dentist I will be returning for my next cleaning.

This place has a convenient location, it’s right next to the McDonald’s on canal street. I came here for a root canal on several occasions, he did an OK job. His office isn’t fancy, small waiting area once you walk in and there’s a receptionist desk. I usually schedule for morning appointments and when I get there, I’m the only patient. After my procedure is done, I see another patient waiting, usually one patient at a time comes in. I forgot what floor he’s on, probably 2nd. It’s a long hallway once you get out of the elevator, there’s other clinics, acupuncture, and lawyer office on the floor nearby, the hallway does not make you feel welcome to look at, dingy. Anyways, he gets right to the job, I believes he’s honest in his opinion and he doesn’t BS, I think it’s hard to find good dentist nowadays. They take cash. The staff are nice, speaks fluent English and Chinese. Dr. Lam doesn’t do tooth extraction surgery. Unfortunately, Dr. Lam doesn’t accept my insurance so had to pay out of pocket. I spent close to $ 800 for one root canal and xrays. If he accepted my insurance, I would go back and make him my primary dentist!
