La Nueva Giralda Bakery

Yum, yum, yum. Definitely my go to bakery around the neighborhood. This place is a bakery but they also serve sandwiches and breakfast. Very small place. Only a stool or 2 to sit. They have a small stand up counter if you want to eat in there. I wouldn’t recommend it though. Very small joint. When people are in there, we’re pretty much on top of each other. I have only tried their bakery stuff. Have not tried their sandwiches. Although it smells fantastic. I have to make it a point to try it out. Their baked goods though are great. Tried the cannoli’s, chocolate mousse and flan. Yes, yes and yes to all three. My wife had a slice of their pineapple cake. She’s infatuated with it now. This is a Mexican style bakery. The cannoli’s aren’t the typical tasting Italian variety but just as good in my opinion. Very good bakery. Street parking isn’t bad if you’re driving. There’s usually parking available. Best bet is to do what we do, walk. If you’re close enough that is.
