It’s four hours later, and I still have dry mouth. You know from my reviews that this is one of the repeated things I go nuts about (nuts in the bad way).
It’s hurtful to write this because I thought the Koronet expansion into Washington Heights was a chance at redemption. As you know, I’ve come to call the UWS location KoroNOT because it disappoints either by being overly greasy/​salted or through ridiculous wait times in an underventilated and crammed space. There are no queuing and wait problems here, and it’s a good slice with superb P2P (Price to Portions) ratio. But a giant slice two times the size of your head is just a gimmick without quality. Taste is fantastic at first but then you see canola oil dripping down your hand, then drymouth for hours after. It’s the pizza slice as trojan horse. And instant flavor via salt is the recipe of scoundrels.
This is three strikes for Koronet within a year. Fool me once…

Wow! We’ve lived on 190th & Wadsworth for two years and could never find good pizza in the area. Finally! We used Unilocal tonight and it was nothing short of fantastic. Delicious, fresh, exactly what NYC pizza is supposed to be. Was also fast, under 40 minutes. We will be back for sure!

It is not the best pizza around for one simple reason. The dough/​crust. It is edible and passable more than most average pizzerias. However, most good pizza is relatively soft rather than stiff. If you are hungry and want to eat well for un 5 dollars one slice and a drink will do you fine. They offer other standard fare which most pizzerias offer which is fine. Keep in mind this place is cash only even if you order online.

I had forgot all about this pizzeria. I used to frequent it a many times after coming out of a bar on broadway. So fast forward to now. I was driving up broadway and it caught my eye. So many memories of their slices so i had to get one. It wasnt crowded which was a surprise and the order never takes along time because the pizza’s are already made.
I enjoyed it. I think they take joy out of making pizza slices that big. And us the customers are not complaining one bit.
Loved it and whenever im up this way i will always get a slice.

Huge, well sauced plenty of cheese slices for three Dollars, You cant go wrong, They add toppings for a dollar more per topping, They also have other menu items, The seating is very tight, stools no tables, Very busy so the pizza is fresh, I will return again and i recommend you try if in the area.

Big as your face pizza slices. I love this spot both on the UWS and this location but moreso this location since its closer to my house ;) Don’t go there to chit chat, go there to stuff your gluttonous face.

Great pizza I made the mistake of ordering 3 I should’ve ordered just one cause although I’m a big guy I couldn’t even finish 1 slice Lol but it was very good I loved it plus the Stewards orange cream was sooooooo good and ice cold i also ordered a signature and omg it was big loaded up and delicious I highly recommend koronet pizzeria

3 Stars only because I feel its not the best in the Heights but gives you most for your money. I’ll buy a slice for $ 3 here, way before I pay $ 2.75 for one at Famiglia!

The pizza slices here are exceptional and HUGE. But don’t think for a second this is sacrificing quality for quantity. This my friends, is all quality and quantity for only $ 3!!! They put the right amount of tomato sauce and good quality cheese. I usually buy one and split it with someone. Another good thing about this place is that their drinks are ice cold, unlike other pizzerias where they sell you warm or room temperature drinks which to me is criminal.

Just like its big sister downtown, the Koronet in WaHi will give you a slice the size of an infant for $ 3, and you’ll be full for the rest of the day.

I decided to order through Unilocal at this place. It all worked out fine.
I’m here to basically agree with reviews. HUGE slices. I figured a normal length but thicker. This slice was GIANT. Not much flavor in the sauce but I would never say «watery» like every other critical review. It taste like Pizza Hut’s marinara sauce. I added red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning and the pizza was fine. VERY greasy. Not like the kind of greasy warn you about in middle school Health class, like chest pain you-​can-​feel-​arteries-​closing grease level. Dab it with one of the 40 napkins they give you.
Due to their being a minimum on delivery orders, I also got a chicken parm hero. Eh. Not much flavor, and at $ 6.00, not really worth it.
A great pizza slice if you’re hungry and want a lot per $. The delivery man was friendly.

Been here once and had take out once. Not large slices, GINORMOUS slices (how did spell check not flag that one?) When a regular size slice in Westchester is $ 2.50 give or take and these are $ 3, it’s got to be the deal of a lifetime.
The place is small with a counter and one or two tables, easy to fill up with the locals. But if you’re in the neighborhood and want a REALLY large slice, stop by and bring your appetite.
Oh, BTW, the place was clean but I had to sit near the oven on a hot, steamy afternoon. Not pleasant, but I managed ;-)

Besides the size of the pizza, it is your average cheese pizza. What I noticed was the crust was thin and crunchy which was pretty good but I was not a fan of the pizza sauce. Average at best.

Biggest friggin’ pizza ever. An $ 11 cheese pizza is so humongous, I ate it for 4 days!
It’s good, it’s cheap, it’s fast, it’s right around the corner from my apt. Also they think about the little things — my delivery guy gave me paper plates, napkins and utensils without my asking. Love this place.
