Great service I made a phone call with my commercial freezer needed to be hauled away 10 minutes later they were here courteous professional and no time wasted !

I live in Manhattan and have been wanting to get rid of two window A/C’s that were taking up space in my Apt. Making the appointment was easy and effortless. The guys showed up on time and were happy to haul away our items. I highly recommend calling these guys if you need some metal taken away!

When I got Scrap, which is often, I bring it here. What first attracted me to this scrap yard was the name, Kiwi. «Why would such an operations be likened to a (my favorite) fruit», I pondered as I drove up the Bruckner, a broken basketball hoop, 2 shopping carts and some pipes in tow.
Well, Its hard to believe, but your just gonna have to check it out yourself to find out. I’m sorry, but I cannot tell. SO, next time you see an old radiator in the road, rusty bike in the gutter, or grammas backup basement stove, take it to Kiwi.

Found David via this page from the previous reviewer. Our small office was trying to get rid of about 400lbs of metal shelving. David and his boys came by and picked things up, no questions asked. Great guy and great service!

I own a small business in Queens and was clearing out/​organizing my basement. I had a couple of Huge commercial A/​C Heating units that were not in use anymore. I wanted them out of my basement.
I found David on craigslist and thought id give him a call. He and his partner picks up any type of scrap metal for FREE (they then sell them to a scrap yard to recycle). I left him a message and he called me back within 10 minutes. He arrived the same day (alot of others i called wanted to stop by the next or even following day). He checked out what i had and agreed to come in the next morning to break them down (take them apart) and lug the machinery out before i opened my store. He was very courteous and professional. I was surprised to see He had a pocket calendar with his appointments. Im pretty sure that he will pick up scrap metal in all the nyc boroughs.
I think its very hard to find someone in this industry who is as professional and courteous as he and his partner was. Now my store basement is clean and super organized!
