The chicken tastes weird and it doesn’t look like chicken. The hot & sour soup is very greasy. The only eatable food was the brown rice. Cheap price equals cheap quality. Not recommended.

You get what you pay for here and you don’t pay too much. Woman taking delivery orders rushes you so much she hangs up before you can ask a question. Pancakes for moo-shu are thin and almost non existent, can’t hold the food and do not seem to be made fresh… I think this is one of those items which are always outsourced Sent wrong order .two items were not correct and all they can say when you call is that you were not charged differently… who cares?: I ATEDIFFERENTLY!

This is 4 stars for tasty American Chinese food(not authentic chinese food but awesome for what it is!). We ordered shredded pork with scallions(the winner! Has a nice kick of spice but not overly spicy and not greasy). We also got ginger chicken with these delicious small tasty black mushrooms: also a winner and delicious and not greasy. Ok the eggplant was more greasy(obviously) since it’s fried but very well cooked and the sauce was memorable and tasty. If you spend more than $ 20 there’s a coupon on the menu for a free cold noodle which we got(delicious cold sesame noodle, yum!). We also got a large wonton soup which was tasty with a homemade broth.

Terrible service, terrible food. The chicken fried rice was disgusting and the sesame chicken wasn’t much better. 很不好!

Nothing to write home about at this place, but it’s also perfectly acceptable on a semi-inebriated night after a few beers. I’ve had better General Tso’s chicken before, but I’ve also had worse. It’s quick and fast, and they’ll usually send a couple of egg rolls for free with the order.

I rarely am in the mood for cheap, greasy, American Chinese food… But when I get the craving I expect places like this to deliver a consistent quality. All I can say is that I was not impressed. The fried imitation crabsticks were limp, the house special fried rice was not very special and it was on the pricey side for what we ordered.

Just doesn’t stand up in comparison to other quick, cheap Chinese places. Still a good option if you live right in this area.

The food is flavorless. The egg rolls & sweet & sour shrimp were already fried and then thrown back in to the grease to warm up — they were leaden. The fried rice was just salty and had no depth. They stiffed me on my dumplings. Mediocrity personified. Avoid.

I have been ordering from them for years and years. It’s the best Chinese takeout food with good portion and good price and fast delivery. Now I moved out of UWS, with I still have them nearby me.

I have been here twice and eaten the sesame chicken, cheese wontons, and pineapple chicken. I really wanted to like this place, since it got so many great reviews and the staff is so friendly. However, today I found a piece of plastic inside my cheese wonton, which was pretty unsettling. Also, the food doesn’t have a lot of flavor– I was disappointed with the sesame chicken, but I was willing to return to try something else– was not expecting plastic! Between that and the bland flavors, I will not be returning.

I recently moved to the city and have been looking for good Chinese food places. Finally I stumbled across King’s and I am ecstatic that I did. The Chinese food here is some of the best I have had in the city. Delivery is pretty fast and the eggrolls are everything I want. So happy to have found this restaraunt.

This is right up the middle around the corner Chinese food. We are walking home from a movie on Christmas night and went to get quick, cheap, Chinese.

We’ve only ordered takeout from there and it is hands down the best on the uws. It’s the last Chinese take out number you need. Good is always good and always quick!

Quick feel-good Chinese food that’s easy on the wallet. Except for the fortune cookies, which are no longer free and now cost .40¢? Anyway, as some other people have said, some dishes are better than others. The General Tso’s chicken — good. Roast Pork Chow Mein — not so much. It was more like a pile of half sauteed onions with a piece of pork and carrot here and there. Pass on that. Is it the best Chinese food I’ve ever had? No. Is it authentic? Hell no. This is just really easy and tasty I’m-going-to-lay-in-my-pajamas-all-day type of Chinese take-out place.

DONOTEATHERE. I ordered orange chicken and chicken fried rice both of which will keep me away from this place. The chicken in the fried chicken was NOT cooked and there was a METALSCREW in the orange chicken. When I called to tell them, all I got was«next time I will give you a discount». Nope, there will never be a next time.

Not as good as my other default crappy Chinese take out place(Wong’s on 1st between 64 and 65). I had some very crap take out Kung Pao chicken here, but for very cheap(cheaper than Wong’s). Had Kung Pao’s small portion for $ 5.70, which includes white rice. I don’t think you can change it up for brown, like you can at Wong’s. Wong’s dinner combo always has more variety– letting you CHOOSE egg roll, soup and which kind of fried rice. This place just has an egg roll and pork fried rice… plus Kung Pao(what real Chinese people like) wasn’t on the dinner combo list. I’d say this place is pretty geared to what Americans like Chinese food for– the chicken and broccoli, and the sweet and sour chicken. Service is fast. Place is clean and(bigger) than Wong’s; I noted they have home made iced tea for $ 1. I’d probably venture back, maybe, if I was in the area but a lot of the fast dining around here(e.g. hampton chutney, which I love) isn’t as cheap.

Came here late one night to order food for take out and ended up eating dinner in too. The lady at the counter is very nice and friendly. Had the chicken lo mein, and Fried chicken wings with home made iced tea for free. The wait wasn’t too long although we were quite startled by the men re arranging and cleaning the place because they were quite loud and one of them dropped cans on the floor while arranging it on the freezer. The quality of the food was okay, chicken was crispy and the lo mein well, I didnt had the chance to eat it, coz it was for the bf. Anyways, I was happy everything ended well, esp when they took my card as payment coz I ddnt had cash in my pocket.
