The place was like a puppy mill. I had finished getting an epidural and I had never seen the doctor; the guy whose pictures were all over the wall. I asked to see him and he spoke to me in the little cubicle for briefly 5 minutes, tops (no privacy) Maybe this is the way it is today, but I at least want to meet with the doctor I make the appointment with.

Dr. Chapman is the worst doctor to be treated by. He has hooked my 23 year old son on pain killers 3 years ago and ever since than my son’s life has been spiraling down a dark path. Every time my son went to him, he was send away with a prescription for painkillers. He has a herniated disc and came to see Dr. Chapman for pain relief however since Dr. Chapman tries to squeeze in as many patients as possible, it was a routine to just write a prescription rather than offering treatment of a safer way.
I regret the day my son went there and I urge you not to go there. He will see you once and leave you in the hands of his incompetent physician assistant who sits and prescribes meds and pretends to know what she is talking about. The place is a drug joint and let this be a warning before you take yourself or a loved one there.

Without warning I found myself in severe pain from cervical radiculopathy. The pain was so intense it took 12 hours for emergency room caregivers to bring it to a tolerable level. Without hesitation, the head of neurosurgery at a prominent Manhattan hospital referred me to Dr. Chapman. It took Dr. Chapman less than 30 minutes to give me back my wonderful life. I thank Dr. Chapman, along with his compassionate staff: Physician Assistant, Danielle; Head Medical Assistant, Marilyn; Office Manager, Yadira «Jay»; Surgical Technician, Lorna; and Anesthesiologist, Dr. Gopal, for graciously waiting well past their regular work day (on a Friday, no less) to relieve me of my pain. Pain is a mind-​killer. Thankfully, we can turn to the team at Spine Pain Institute for rescue.
