I almost didn’t want to write this review. Let me explain. An overcast afternoon helped propel my desire for a tasty burger. Nothing too greasy. Just something that made my appetite [by now, akin to a gastrointestinal Dirt Devil] «switch-off»: so-to-speak. I thought back to this place. This place, always in the periphery & never in the forefront, was now, for no explicable reason, beckoning my presence. I heeded the restaurant’s cries and, after jumping on the bus, found myself a block away from burger Elysium. I could go on. I could spend an inordinate amount of time writing a ridiculously long-winded review about a place I am, only now, revisiting. But these reviews aren’t for the writer. They’re for the reader. As such, I implore you to take the following three items under consideration: — The cheese fries are tastier than you’d expect. — The regular cheeseburger [4 ounces, grilled before your very own peepers] comes with your choice of ketchup, mayo, pickles, onions, tomatoes or lettuce. — Both of these things are $ 2 each. Now, I can not speak about the other items on the menu for, alas, I did not order them. Maybe I will at a later date. For now, 4 cheeseburgers [with the works] and a side of cheese fries for only $ 10 will have to do.
