I just happened to stumble and find KC and decided that based on all GREAT reviews I just had to have her as my makeup and hair artist for my wedding for my mother and mother in law as well… lets just say she is BEST!!! So after I had my trial session for my engagement shoot (which by the way the pics are spectacular due to all hand of KC) I had the amazing ability to attend one of her «intro to makeup» courses and OMG I loved it… she finally taught me how to properly find the right shades for my skin tone, how to apply and even contour I felt so confident that I did my own makeup for my sangeet night and the pics look fabulous !!! So needless to say KC is extremely knowledgable, caring and direct. If you are looking for someone who will make you look flawless this is your lady!!! Thank you again for making my wedding amazing !!!

Karuna and her team was nothing but perfect. Karuna listened to my thoughts and concerns and knew exactly what I wanted with my bridezilla explanations! Lol. I had reached out to Karuna pretty last minute and She was accommodating with my schedule as she already had appts the day of my reception. She made it work and managed to drive up to CT to in time to make me look flawless! I had several events for my wedding but the day I got ready with Karuna (which was also my last event), was the day I and everyone else thought I looked the best. Karuna did the makeup for my wedding almost 5 years ago. Not only did she make me look flawless during all my events (still getting compliments!) but she gave me some fantastic tips on how to prep my skin which I still use to this day. It made me realize how little I know about applying my own makeup! So about 2 years ago I took a private makeup lesson with KC in her studio in NYC. It was well worth it. I literally showed her every single product I use and she walked me through what would be best for my skin. I def see the difference, ESP in pictures! KC will always be my go-​to for makeup! My sister is getting married next year and she has hired her as well! So excited to get my makeup done once again with her!

Karuna and I are industry colleagues, and she is, without a doubt, one of the best makeup artists I’ve worked with. Poised and professional — it’s needless to say she’ll deliver exactly as promised and then some. I’ve even seen her perform in some of the least ideal situations, and she has always outdone herself. The looks she’s able to create are unrivaled, and it’s easy to see how stunning of a job she does, be it in person, pictures, or video. She’s not only great at her craft, but she’s knowledgable about it, too.
As for hair, Cristina works wonders. She’s never at a loss for a great style, and I’ve seen her work magic with all types of hair (straight, curly, extensions, etc.). I’ve been on sets with her for several hours at a time, and Cristina’s styling always holds well.
Makeup and hair aside, the KC-​Makeup team is awesome to be around. There’s never a dull moment when you’re in their chair, and I’ve had a first hand look at how much Karuna and Cristina’s clients enjoy working with them.
