I bought my first piece of furniture from Katz in 1982. 33 years later and I am still buying my furniture from Marty and his family. I am one of those people that asks a million questions and no matter how small my inquiry, Marty always gets me the answer. I trust that the information he gives me is accurate, as he has never been wrong about anything I have ordered in the past. I have never had a problem with ordering, delivery or customer service. My children are now ordering from Katz furniture and feel just as comfortable working with Marty and company as my husband and I do. While some online companies can match his prices, no online company can match the customer service, the advice, and the care that Marty and Katz furniture provides. If there are negative reviews, I can only guess that the problem was with the customer, not the company! I look forward to buying my new dining room furniture from Marty, and yes, he beat the North Carolina price!

Hello Fellow Unilocalers, Had the most pleasurable experience dealing with Marty & Seema when ordering a custom made headboard & side rails. I hardly write these, but they gave the best price, were knowledgeable about the product, offered their suggestions, but never pushed a product on me. I am very satisfied. Tried to deal some of the major competitors like RMF& others, but was dealing with buffoons who were there to get a paycheck. I would disregard the negative feedback as the small percentage who will never be satisfied… Next time I need something they will be the first call I make, not to sound too cheesy! Buyer beware. I do not usually write reviews but this furniture store is operates very unusually. They would only verbally talk about price. They refused to send a legitimate rate proposal. Neil & Marty the store representatives stated they were too busy to work up quotes. They called & email a ton attempting to get us to close a deal on a couch they quoted us. Again only a verbal quote. So I called the manufacturer of the couch, king hickory, & Susie told me Katz Furniture at the Orchard st address was not even a valid vendor. They could not have even ordered me a king hickory couch. I voiced my concern over email to Neil at Katz & told him what King Hickory said about their lack of dealer status & I never heard from Neil or Katz Furniture again. I sent multiple emails asking Katz for an update & never heard from them again. Buyer Beware

I really never write reviews but I thought since i read so many reviews I should write one for Katz. I have been ordering from Katz Furniture for over 15 years. I have decorated all of my rooms with this store. I shop for the best price and Katz always beats the owest price I can find. Marty is always a pleasure to deal with and I have NEVER had a problem. Some delays happen due to the manufacturer and Katz has no control over that. I would highly recommend this store. My entire family has been using it.

Katz Furniture told us our dresser would arrive in 8 – 10 weeks; we originally asked if any way possible they could request a ‘rush’ from the manufacturer as piece was a dresser/changing table to match our son’s crib, we were changing him on a changing pad on floor– they said not a problem but mentioned it could take the full 10 weeks. 10 weeks went by, no dresser. 12 weeks went by, no dresser. Katz never called us, we had to call them, they were not responsive– they lied and said it was coming after 16 weeks. horrible customer service! we dropped almost $ 1,000 on this piece, finally it was delivered 22 weeks later!!! I was happy with the quality of piece, but that isn’t them– it’s the manufacturer. Katz Furniture sucked, whatever they tell you, expect length of time to be double, and horrible customer service. I expected more from my fellow members of tribe(respect, honest communication, perhaps refund of $ 150⁄200 for a 5.5 month wait), didn’t get any of those things– sorry but I cannot recommend Katz Furniture and must tell others the truth about our awful experience with them.
