I’ve moved all over the U.S. and have had over a dozen pediatricians. Max Kahn was my first and became my gold standard. His calm, sensible demeanor was exactly what I needed as a new mom. He gave my son excellent medical care and gave me invaluable parenting advice from newborn to toddler that I continue to share with friends to this day. (My sons are now in HS and college.) He was a great doctor for a young, new city mom and a lovely man.

I have been taking my son to Dr. Kahn for about a year and a half now, since my son was only a couple of days old. We have seen him at both the UWS and Westchester location of the practice. Dr. Kahn is gentle, kind, and very knowledgeable. He is very reasonable in his care and in his recommendations. He is genuine in his concern for my child and in his commitment to his profession. I trust him completely with my child’s health and feel very fortunate to have him as our pediatrician.

Dr. Khan is terrific. He has been seeing my daughter since she was three days old. He is caring, knowledable and thoughtful and my daughter, now almost 3, likes him and brings up his name whenever we talk about going to the doctor. Though there is sometimes a long-​ish wait, the waiting room is large enough to accommodate a lot of patients and adults and the practice has a «sick» waiting room in addition to the waiting room used for patients there for «well» visits.

We had suffered with a pretty bad practice in Morningside Heights before finally jumping ship and making an appointment with Max Kahn, at the suggestion of a friend who also brings her child to him. So far he has been great! He is good with the kids, he has been very thorough at their checkups, and the wait times have been reasonable. Though he seems to be on top of any possible problems, he also doesn’t seem to be out to find problems where there are none… Very happy with our visits and the care my kids have received from this practice!
