I always choose to go to this place for my $ 1 pizza whenever I’m around the Empire State building. I can’t say much about the other food here, but the pizza is very saucy, thick, cheesy and filling — which is a much better value than the small $ 1 pizza slices you get nowadays. So even if you have to pay $ 1.07(tax) for this«dollar» pizza, it’s worth it. You also get to sit down, so come here if you’re not a fan of having to walk down the street with your pizza. This place is a bit hard to find, as it’s a very narrow store that you have to walk to the back of in order to place your order.

I would rate this place slightly above average for dollar pizza places. Yes, it does look sketchy, but there is actually a good amount of cheese and tomato sauce on their slices and I like that their dough is crispy, not soft or limp. The slices here are slightly smaller than the ones at 2 Bros. but I find that a lot of times, the slices at 2 Bros. are very stingy with the cheese and sauce, so it’s like eating a piece of dough.

$ 1 for a slice of Pizza. I mean, come on. $ 1. What else is there to say? $ 1 to eat in NY. Enough said.

For $.99 pizza, this isn’t bad at all. I took a train from 137th down for this pizza!

Best 99 pizza I had. Even better the 2 bros on 42nd which is always semi burnt for me. Even distribution of dough-to-cheese ratio unlike other places that give to extra dough and not enough cheese or not enough dough and extra(extra cheap) cheese. The condiments is also good especially the garlic powder which isn’t the cheap imitation garlic powder. Only con is the added tax so its really 1.08 per slice but well with it. As of writing this review at noon there are about half a dozen people here so im aalso guessing im not the only one who likes this pizza.

I love dollar pizza. Without dollar pizza, I don’t know if I’d still have faith in the service industry. Unfortunately, dollar pizza is not always dollar pizza. Sometimes it’s actually $ 1.07. And boy does that make me angry. Especially when I don’t have 7 cents and must break a dollar and carry around a buttload of change the rest of the day. Errrrrrrrr! K Food is very good at being sketchy. When you walk in, you’re immediately weirded out by the long hallway that must be traversed in order to reach the counter. Along the way, your eyeballs will be penetrated by extremely bright florescent lights. The only thing that could help this situation would be music, but no, K Food wants to make sure you are as uncomfortable as possible when you finally place your order. The pizza is bad. But it’s a dollar, so I don’t care about that. It’s the tax and décor that really gets to me. A few changes and this place could potentially rival 2 Bros. As it stands now, I’ve never felt less invited.

VERYVERY cheap pizza. However not the best dollar pizza iv’e ever had. The best goes to 2 bros pizza in east village. This place doesn’t look like a restaurant, as I’m almost sure it’s a convenience store that suddenly wanted to go pizza. It smells strange in here as well. The pizza smells strange as well. The reason as to why I think it smells weird is because of the oil used in the pizza, but then again that’s just a guess. People if your’e in the area, dont shoot for the place but if you really want cheap food, the food being pizza go ahead. Iv’e got no complaints, but then again no compliments except for price for this place.

cheap, cheap, cheap, incredibly edible pizza down the street from the empire state building — the ultimate lunch wasteland. when you get sick of wendy’s, mcdonald’s or burger king around the corner, stop in here for a 99 cent slice or two(two and a soda sets you back $ 2.99). toppings are available, but at a large mark-up… the cheese slices are filling and surprisingly not that bad, even if they were $ 2 each. a regular lunch stop… but again, it’s relative to the neighborhood. certainly wouldn’t seek it out… unless i were homeless and hungry.
