This location is my life line. Cannot live without them. Coconut water is so so good. Soup is great. Avocado toast need to be at least toasted, don’t u think?! Anyway, it’s a juice place so I am more forgiving to their foods.

I understand why most people would be afraid to purchase a meal or snack from juice press considering the moderately high price tag for one substantial drink costing on average 10 dollars. I was skeptical also. But after visiting a few times I’ve come to the realization that I love juice press. I usually purchase the more heavier smoothies that have more caloric density since I drink those as meal replacements on occasion. I would recommend anything from their smoothie acai peanut butter bowls to their blended peanut butter smoothies or the prepackaged mint choco chip smoothie and their fountain of youth. Also try the summer kelp noodles; my favorite!

You know, I’m still not understanding the whole juicing industry here in the States. It’s a normal thing to use whole fresh fruits to make juices elsewhere – and for a lot cheaper, too. That being said, I was trying to keep a low-carb week meal challenge as consistent as possible and I love trying a different place everyday. I typically avoid these juicing places but I was also aching to try something new to fit in my meal plan, so I placed an order for a Mini Marinated Kale Salad and Little Green Monster Juice. Upon arrival, they told me they haven’t sold the Little Green Monster Juice for awhile now and I’d have to choose an alternative(of course, paying the difference) – really? You’re a huge company and you couldn’t just delete that one item to avoid confusion? It was troubling finding a drink the same price as what I ordered($ 6) because what I ordered was on the cheaper-end of their juices – everything was around $ 10. I was disappointed about choosing the Pineapple Juice, but also didn’t want to eat my salad«beverage-less». So, the thing about most of the food here is that they’re already pre-made and refrigerated… which is not something I’d really like, especially paying that much for a such a small salad. The Pineapple Juice was very refreshing for a hot summer day, but it was just a basic drink. The Kale Salad was light and it wasn’t terrible, but can withstand hunger for a few hours until dinner. The tahini dressing was actually not bad and there are some veggies in there, but it was forgettable. The price of the drink was equivalent to the price of the mini salad, which was unsettling for me. Because this is a juicing place, don’t expect any meat in their food and don’t expect fresh food. The shop can be easy to miss(right next to Flywheel) is bigger than expected but can be overwhelming during lunch.

It is normally great and the girl that usually prepares the salads is great as well but today I had another person help me with a salad which at first was too busy to take my order because she was counting coins, then after touching money without washing her hands grabed the bowl she was going to use to prepare my salad and touched the utensils and the surface and then continued to put gloves on, again w/o washing her hands. I had to ask her to wash her hands and to please switch the bowls. Then half way through the salad she realized she was missing ingredients so as a result I requested another type of salad which she prepared on top of the other type of salad she had started, i mean a mess. I had to insist to please give me the second type of salad that I had requested with those specific ingredients. Anyways, I spent probably 20 mins snd was charged full price of course, no apologies, nothing. In hinsight I should’ve left the minute i got there. Whatch out for non sanitary conditions in this location.

I had never been to Tribeca before, so coming to Juice Press was a first for my mother and I. It was 88 degrees yesterday and we desperately needed something to drink after visiting the 911 Memorial site. We happened to see Juice Press and ran across the street to get something cold. The girl at the front desk was helpful in letting us know which drinks would be the most refreshing. I ended up getting the Pink Punk(Pineapple, Strawberry, Ginger and Beet). I loved the spiciness of the ginger. I think my mother said she got the Fountain of Youth– which was a protein based drink. I’m not sure what exactly was in it, but she enjoyed it. Overall, I loved that they were organic(which to harder to find where we are from!) and that we were filled up and refreshed for a bit.

I have had a salad made here 3 times, each time it was missing ingredient I requested, They are never that busy but for some reason can not manage to get a simple order correct, it is so disappointing. The women making the smoothies and salads are too distracted talking about their boyfriends– its not busy .make the salad and ill be out of there in 2 min? I went back to let them know they forgot the avocado again and the woman behind the counter said«o.k next time we will subtract the cost it from your order»? Never happened– I love the oatmeal and the smoothies but it is a bummer to know that they don’t care at all about the customer.- I wish they would train the employes on basic customer service it would do wonders

Juice Press deserves the 5 Star Status because they give out free samples. I walked away with a salad and FOUR free pressed green juice and youthful juice. The salad I ordered had Goji berries were which dried /bit sour and difficult to eat. Yet, the kale and mixed greens were fresh and crisp. Green juice has a sweet, peppery flavor. The interior of the store is very industrial looking — tons of greys and whites. Seating is not abundant and is weirdly spaced out in it’s modern design(tables are not really tables…) Worth the price? ~$ 12.00 avr for salad in TriBeCa? Yes. Better than Sweetgreen down the street — eh, not really. The refrigerators are not well stocked around lunchtime! Fun Fact: Quick service! Was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Excellent real organic juices made with quality ingredients. I come here every day that I’m in NYC and miss it when I’m away. The staff is kind and easy going. They rarely have a line. And they like dogs! What else need I say?

I’ve seen Unilocal reviews that complain about the prices here. That just shows your @&*^#%^ ignorance about quality food, how much better for you it is than the crap you normally eat, how changing what you eat will change and lengthen your life, and it broadcasts to everyone that you don’t buy healthy food for your home. Ever. Now where was I? Oh so I thought it was closed when I arrived at 2:35 on a Sunday because the window has a glare and it was dead empty. Not even a mouse… I spent ten minutes picking out things and trying the self-serve samples. I’ll admit I was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t greeted when I entered and no one said hello as I looked in each case and looked at all the goodies. It doesn’t matter much though because the labeling and packaging is done so well that it answered all of my questions. I also was not acknowledged when I went and stood in front of two employees and politely waited ten seconds for them to even acknowledge that I was right in front of them at the register. Right in front of them! Then, it all changed. I went back to look for more stuff after the rude employees meekly answered my one basic question. When I went back to pay for the four yummy juices and salads I’d picked out, someone vibrant with a clue showed up. This awesome woman, Phoenix, rang me up. I pointed out to her that the avocado was very brown and old looking in my kale salad. She walked up the ladder, walks over the counter on their cool contraption for accessing the customer side and changed my whole experience. She picked out a fresh one, gave me all kinds of great info about the JP cleanse, let me know about a new store opening soon closer to my apt and encouraged me to try some more of the samples. By the time I left many more customers came in and the place was jumpin’. My two star review turned into a five before I even left. The food stands alone as incredible. I’m a very picky eater and I love it all here. I recommend any of the chocolate — ebony and ivory my favorite but probably only because I’m biracial. Also try the liquid gold drink and love at first sight green drink. This place can and will change your life. I’m inspired now to go super hard core on being healthier than ever before.
