My husband and I were very nervous about finding the photographers that would capture our special day. We interviewed several photographers, but from the minute we met Marko, we were hooked. The examples we saw of his work were absolutely gorgeous. They were artsy yet traditional, and they evoked the exact feeling we wanted our photos to evoke. Marko was so easy to work with throughout the whole process. From planning the engagement shoot in DUMBO in Brooklyn, emailing different ideas back and forth about photos for the wedding, to understanding the different facets of our family he was extremely accessible, knowledgeable and accommodating. After seeing the images from the engagement shoot, we were extremely excited to see the images that would be taken at the wedding. From the minute Marko, Molly and their team(photography), as well as Pat and his team(videography) walked into our venue, their professionalism was present. Marko and Pat started in the bridal suite with the girls and I, and Molly started with the boys in the groom’s room. Marko set up pictures in ways that I would have never thought of. He was able to capture such special moments between my bridesmaids and my family that morning. His sense of humor also really makes the experience so much fun. He made sure that he printed out every single photo idea I had emailed him and didn’t stop until he successfully took all of them. He is one of the most creative people I have ever met, and he is really incredible at what he does. He has such a kind niceness about himself and it was truly a pleasure to work with him. My husband and his groomsmen had the most positive things to say about Molly. They LOVED her! My husband told me that they took tons of pictures where Molly was able to collaborate their ideas with her own creative ones. From the teaser pictures she sent me, she truly captured the essence of my husband and his friends. Obviously there were TONS of pictures being taken of my husband and I throughout the day, but I remember Molly being in bushes, on the floor and in so many other unique places to capture unbelievable angles. Everywhere there were photos being taken of us, Pat was right there in the action capturing video. He also set us up in ways that would enable him to capture awesome footage of us. Pat was highly recommended to me by Dave and I can’t wait to see what he creates! One thing that our guests were saying the whole night is how the photographers were everywhere the whole day and snapped a million pictures of each and every person… but did not bother any of the guests while they were doing it. All I remember throughout the day and at the party was turning around and smiling every couple of minutes with tons of different people. People left our wedding saying that they were so incredibly impressed with the level of expertise, attentiveness and kindness the photographers and videographers exuded. We are now first starting to get some teasers from our wedding and they are incredible! Marko, Molly and their team truly captured our family, our friends, the special moments of the day, and my husband and I. My only fear is the fact that I am not going to have enough room to fit all of these pictures into 1 album! I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos and Pat’s video footage! I highly recommend Marko, Molly and their team for photography as well as Pat and his team for videography. I can’t wait to use them again and will be/have been telling everyone I know about them!

If I could I would’ve given this company zero stars. Although I did not sign a contract with JoVon’s and I cant vouch for their finished product, my initial experience with them was subpar at best. I arrived at the studio to meet with JoVon to find another couple in the same room reviewing their photos of their wedding. When I entered he didn’t even shake my hand, nor did he really acknowledge me. After a few minutes he had the couple move into another room. As I sat talking with him, the only thing he kept doing was checking his watch. The photographer that would’ve shot my wedding was sitting there, seeing my dissatisfaction. About 20 minutes into my appointment another lady arrived to meet with JoVon. JoVon quickly moved the photographer and myself out into the hallway. After BSing with the photographer I asked if I could know about pricing, unfortunately he wasn’t versed in the prices they offered. So I had to wait, I waited another 25 minutes before I started to get nasty. Finally the lady that came in after me, left and I went back into the room. Next thing I knew the couple that was reviewing their pictures were back in the office space eating pizza. How can i talk numbers, when there are individuals listening to my entire conversation. The entire meeting was uncomfortable. His prices were low compared to the other photographer’s I’ve visited but his services reminded me of low quality trailer trash. You should never feel like your a number, especially the first time you meet with a company, but that’s clearly how this operation runs. If your planning a wedding do yourself the favor and go somewhere else, the market is too saturated in New York to deal with these type of schmucks.
