Made an appointment on Monday and confirmed they honored the special advertised, turns out they didnt. Spent $ 75 more than I thought I was going to, no free manicure and rude guy at front desk, not a good experience. The previous owners were much nicer, and gave Cadwalader employees discounts. They even denied our General Counsel a discount. It might be a convenient location if you work in 1WFC, but, its not worth it, dont go. oh yeah, some of the hair they colored for me looks white now from over coloring.

Wouldn’t go back here, even for free. I had a voucher for mani/pedi. There is a single pedicure chair in the back of the salon in what looks like a storage room. Actually, it’s a salon chair with a broken plastic foot spa below. Yikes. The water was lukewarm, and there was a dearth of nail colors. The only redeeming thing about this place was that the manicurists themselves are very nice. The owner’s child kept running back and forth all over the salon. Left with a bigger headache than when I arrived.

Had a voucher for a mani/pedi. Manicurist was very nice, the actual manicure/pedicure was above average. I had a mix-up with my voucher and while the owner agreed to let me come back again at no charge, he was hesitant to do so and when I came back for my second appointment he was not in and none of the staff had any idea about our arrangement. Lots of confusion, but in the end the agreement was honored. The prices are pretty reasonable, but the manicurist is only there during the week during business hours which is not super convenient for someone who doesn’t work in the WFC.

Horrendous! I bought a coupon through AmazonDeals for a mani/pedi. Every person that works in that salon was completely incompetent– unable to understand basic English and did not honor my appointment! I made an appointmentto go in on a Monday afternoon(MLK day) and because the staff was lazy and didn’t feel like working they decided to close the salon. WITHOUTCALLINGMETOCANCEL. I show up to see a dark salon and no one followed up or appologized. I called a few days later to reschedule and the receptionist was rude, making up her own appointment times(who is free for a mani/pedi at 1:30 when it was 1:15 when I was calling??) and was basically the most unprofessional and rude person I have had the displeasure to speak to. I called Amazon and got a refund within 10 seconds. Quite frankly, I don’t care how good their services are, especially when they can’t even honor their appointments and open and close when their laziness kicks in. It’s a shame to see a small business in such a great community create such a tained mark on BPC. Will never go there and will be super sure to let EVERYONE know how awful they are. Terrible management trickles down to everyone that works in the salon.

I bought a Amazon Deals voucher for a manicure/pedicure. I made an appt after work(6pm). This was the last appt of the day and was so hard for me to get b/c they have very limited appts. Be awrare they do no take weekend mani/pedi appts. When I got there I had a great manicure and then was suddenly told that I could not get a pedicure. They decided they were closing. On top of it they would not honor my voucher and the owner told me too bad, make another appt. So I paid $ 10 for a manicure I did not want and was told to make a second appt for the voucher I was not allowed to use– as told to me by the owner– becuase he didn’t want to stay open even though I had made an appt with him. I called again to make another appt to use my voucher. This time 2 manicure/pedis. One for me and one for my sister– both with the vouchers. One after the other and I made them with the owner. I had a great mani/pedi with Daisy who is very good. All of a sudden I see them closing everything down. Lights off, door closed right spack in the middle of the day. However I had made the second appt and they did not care. They said they called me all day and could not reach me but they were going to close early!!! I checked my phone and had NOT one missed call OR message. They did not care even though I had an appt and I had made it with the owner! Daisy the manicurist is excellent. Their service stinks. I would never go back there again.

I needed to get my nails done and since I was in the area, I chose to search«nail salons» on Unilocal.Because this place had 5 stars, I decided to check it out. I can attest that they had great service and reasonable prices! It was a little hard for me to find, but I guess that is what makes a «best kept secret.» I’ll definitely go out of my way to go back here!

I have been here several times and have had a good haircut. The place is neat and clean, staff friendly and accommodating. Prices are reasonable. It’s become the salon for me

I really like this salon. Between convenient location, wonderful stylists, and great hours of operation(6am to 8pm during the week!), I don’t think I could ask for much more! My only gripe is that the prices seem to have increased recently — upwards of $ 75 just for a shampoo, cut, and blowdry is a little much, even though they do a really good job. The salon is small, but the layout and use of space makes it feel open and airy. The staff are all super friendly and professional — they make you feel right at home. Stylists take the time to ask just what you’re looking for, and make sure you’re happy before you leave. This is a wonderful salon, and, if you’ve got the money to spend or price isn’t as much of a concern, I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great salon experience in the downtown Financial District!
