A good friend recommended that I try Joey at his new salon in the UES. While there I was able to see him work on someone before me and I have to say that he is truly gifted at what he does. Fun to chat with as well. He does work fast so if you are limited on time it’s a great spot for that as well.

We were visiting family this weekend in the city and they recommended Joseph Battisti Salon. We were able to get an appt. with Joey and he was so fabulous. I loved my blowout. This salon is wonderful, and very roomy especially for NYC. He was so friendly as was his staff. I would definitely recommend JB Salon to anyone in NYC.

Worst man ever. Her mediocre services are so overpriced. He just opened his own salon and is trying to make a quick profit. I would never come here again or suggest his salon to ANYONE.

JBS is a very professional and stylish boutique salon on Upper East Side and honestly I do not normally pay this much for a cut, but it looked and felt so great, I will from now on. As a man who lives both in California and in NYC, I have been to many salons but this is the best looking style and cut I have possibly ever had anywhere. I have never received so many compliments about my hair as I did after this recent cut. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Joey through a good friend of mine that used to see him religiously in Rochester. She sent me his information after I moved to the City and I thought I’d give him a try. Although I’m not ‘picky’ about my hair, I do know what a good cut and color looks like. And Joey was able to provide that service. For the first time in many years, I’m actually looking forward to my next cut and color! Thanks Joey!

My fabulous eyebrow guru Raquel has now moved to this location (previously worked at Benefit brows).
This is my 6th time coming to her and she’s honestly shaped and recreated my brows into nothing short of fabulous!

I visited Joseph Battisti salon in the upper east side recently and had a beautiful blowout done by stylist Megan Richardson. My hair looked fabulous! My only wish is that I had somewhere fancy to go that night :-) The salon, although smaller than others I have visited, feels just big enough and really delivers on making you feel special and appreciated. It is beautifully decorated and smells so good inside.
My blowout began with a nice shampoo and head massage. Megan really took her time on my blowout and she gave as much love to the last strand she dried as she did to the first. My hair had volume and beautiful curls at the ends. I felt fabulous. This is especially great since I have A LOT of hair that is not very easy to blow dry. Thank you Megan :-)

Without question Joey does the the best extentions in NY. I have thin, thinning, frizzy mostly gray hair and not much of it. After Joey is finished I have supermodel hair. Beautiful, thick, shinny brunette hair with waves past my shoulders. This man performs miracles.
I come all the way from DC for his services, I highly recommend.

I am so happy that Joseph hired Nicole as one of his new stylists. She has been my hairstylist for over 10 years. Whenever I get a haircut everyone raves about the cut, and how amazing it looks. She isn’t afraid to give you you suggestions and input on a new look, or how you should style your hair. Not only is she great at cuts she did a great job on my highlights. I’m a virgin when it comes to hair color and I put all my trust in her and now my hair looks very sexy and awesome! The salon is very nice and quaint. It is not meant to be a salon that has a lot of hussle and bustle going on– it’s more of a relaxing atmosphere where there is also a peaceful garden in the back.
Definitely worth going to if you are looking for a new salon, and a new hairstylist– Nicole Chan :)

Love this neighborhood, love the restaurants near by and because of that I stumbled across this cute salon! came into this place looking for a trim and blow dry, had the pleasure of meeting Nicole!, sweetest cutest little lady, she gave a very nice trim I must say, added her own flair, gave suggestions, did some more than what I was expecting and I really appreciated that! Gave a beautiful blow dry and I was ready to go! I will definitely come back for an actual cut and perhaps some color! Everyone was lovely in the salon, the receptionist and all!
I think I may have found my new salon!
