We ordered three different things. One was extremely greasy and the other two tasted the same even though they were supposed to be different dishes. I don’t think there is any good Chinese delivery in Harlem. This place is pretty standard for the area.

I do not understand why my review is placed as NOTRECOMMENDED for me telling the truth of something disgusting I saw the worker doing.

Fast, fresh and always reliable! The cooks make your order exactly how you request, so make sure you know what you’re ordering and how. The delivery is super fast. I order from here often.

Picture Chinese food. No, not«real» Chinese food. Picture Chinese take-out. The greasy egg rolls, the salty lo mein, the little containers of steaming white rice, the glistening vegetables, the chewy chicken, the chewier beef. You’re picturing Jing Hui. It’s just exactly what you’re expecting. I live 2 blocks up, so I’m a frequent customer: consider my opinion«expert» in this matter. Jing Hui is much better than anything else in the neighborhood, and if you go pick up your food yourself, you can watch them cook everything, which might be a plus for the more hygienically suspicious among you. Prices are, like most Chinese take-out spots, ludicrously cheap. The«Three Season Delight» — green beans, cabbage, and broccoli in brown sauce — is my go-to option, possibly accompanied by wonton soup(always tastes fresh; you know how funky old wontons can taste) or an egg roll(big, greasy, generic, good). My roommates are fans of the General Tso’s and the sesame chicken, but come on. It’s Chinese take-out. You know what you’re getting. The staff are always near-silent, efficient, and unflappable, despite some rather rude clientele. Be nice to your Chinese take-out family, people! They’re working as fast as they can to get you your $ 5 meal, there’s no need to shout. My only cautionary advice: do not get the fried wontons. They are a primer in the meaning of disappointment.

I love this place … Right up the block from me. The food is always fresh & the service is always quick. The only downside is the delivery man that takes out his own tip or asks for one. RUDE.

Totally decent Chinese take out. Great value. Aside from the crazy lady who lives in the same building who has told us on two separate occasions how dirty the kitchen is, how the guy smokes whilst chopping raw chicken, how the truck that delivers the meat is not refrigerated, etc etc. It’s obvious she has something personal against the place. Freak.

Not really a 4* restaurant, but when it comes to cheap, fast(Americanized) Chinese food, this is about as good as it gets… In Harlem. My go-to — sesame chicken — is always good. It can get pretty busy in Saturday and Sunday nights. They deliver pretty late. Plus, they have an ‘A’ letter grade; many of the Chinese spots here do not. You can throw away all the other delivery menus from the trashy Chinese restaurants in the area.

For what it is, a walk in Chinese joint, four stars is pretty adequate. The people are nice and fast, the place is super clean and the food tastes good, no overwhelming msg-taste or anything gross. It s really good. Just be specific with what you want. Good prices too. I wasn’t a huge fan of the spring rolls though but, whatever. They were still decent and enormous. Zero complaints.

Used to be one of the best Chinese spots in the upper 140s and 150s but something has recently changed. Other than moving from the huge eat in corner spot to a much smaller take out around the corner either the management or the cooks have changed. I had to throw out my hot and sour because it was so disgusting. Noodles are bland despite asking for them to be spicy. I am no longer a fan.

Im not sure Jing Hui is really a 4 star spot. But as far as chinese food goes in my area of Harlem, its definitely up there. The staff is always friendly. The food is pretty good. Dont do the fried wontons… not so good. General Tso’s is not the best here either. Other than that, everything else is pretty tasty. Fried fish is good and not too greasy. Wings are stellar. Chicken and string beans is good. Mixed veggies are yummers(brown sauce on the side). The roast pork sliced is normally really good(on occasion it can be a tad greasy). Lo mein’s alright. Chicken and rice soup is good(and cheap) for a cold day. Dont do Chix n veg soup though. Nothing they make is spicy, even if you ask for extra spicy. Oh well. In my area, Ive found this to be the best Chinese option.
