This place is fantastic. BLt was best I’ve seen. That’s all I can say. Come here if you like BLT’s. They make other stuff but I had the BLT and it was work of art made by josh, Nikki, Miguel, Rell, Dave. Great stuff. Great food. Thank you

Food is decent. Surprised by the numerous good reviews. Probably wouldn’t have rated at all if evening staff hadn’t been so rude.

I like Jersey Mikes the sandwich is the best in this area Not as good as a Italian Deli or a good Jewish deli however it is tasty… and the staff is friendly and efficient. Its one of my go-to spots for lunch in this neighborhood.

WTH… My philly cheesesteak was almost $ 10 and there was no meat. This is the same as ordering a sandwich from Subway’s. It’s like eating bread. Cannot even taste the cheesesteak. Disappointed.

Jersey Mike’s NY Manhattan FiDi 8pm Saturday 6th May 2016 Four Stars The place is huge. The staff were friendly. All of the ingredients were fresh and of a better quality than subway. I had a Giant #9 Supreme Club. Fifteen inches of fresh baked white French bread covers in Mayo, Turkey, Roast Beef, Swiss, Bacon, Shredded Lettuce, Tomatoes, vinegar, salt, and pepper. The bread was soft and chewy with decent flour taste. The Turkey was tender with a nice briny taste. The roast beef was a bit tired and tough. The cheese was good. The shredded lettuce is always a plus in my book because it holds more moisture and it’s easy to tell if it’s old. The tomatoes were fresh and delicious. I like Mike’s way(except for the raw onions). I also had a tiny 1.3 oz bag of jalapeño kettle chips. It was a bit expensive($ 18 total). Overall, good clean filling place to eat.

Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak, unfortunately the cheese and dressing overpowered the buffalo sauce. Disappointing since I obviously wanted that buffalo flavor. Otherwise it was an okay sandwich, probably not worth $ 8 though. But I’d give them another shot with a different sandwich. I’m not a germaphobe but for the cold sandwiches they just slide them directly against the counter. Who knows how often that’s sanitized? You’re looking at cross-contamination city right there, no thanks. But they do put it on paper AFTER they make it. So I may need to rethink giving them a second chance.

If Potbelly and Subway had a baby it would be Jersey Mike’s. Sometimes you just want a sub, ya know? The subs are fresh, the ingredients are tasty & if your in the mood for a cold sub anyway you like you’ve come to the right place. The chocolate chip cookies are tasty too! I always get the Turkey + Provolone and my man get’s the Italian Sub. 2 Thumbs up!

I LOVEEEEEEEEEE getting a reg Italian at Jersey Mike’s with mikes way! It’s the sauce that makes it… SOODELISHHHHHH. Only downside to this is the cost. they raised it since subways nearby closed. A reg sub is about 9 ish. It’s always crowded during lunch it. Often get confuse with the lines where they point you to the cold or hot subs line… it’s not often accurate. Sign up for the email subscriptions, I believe every monday you get an email for a free bag of chips/soda with a order of a reg or giant sub purchase or other promo events like buy one get one free/half off, 10% off your order, or $ 1 off your reg sub. also you get a free sub on your birthday. ^______^ PS there’s an app for Jersey Mike’s where you can order and accumulate«Shore points» to get a free sub.

These subs are great for a chain restaurant(take that how you want to). The location is much larger than it looks in passing from the window. I probably wouldn’t suggest going around lunch time as it is at the bottom of a popular office building and a crowd and line can form quickly. They try to expedite it by booking your order while you wait in line to pay and there’s separate lines for hot and cold sandwiches at peak times. I always get the Philly cheesesteak or some reimagined version of said sandwich. I’m never disappointed.

If you’re in the mood for some cold subs that are slightly above the quality of Subway, then this is a solid option. I had the ham and salami sandwich, and honestly nothing stood out, except for the fact that it was a pretty decently filling lunch. I still prefer the piping hot sandwiches at Potbelly more.

3.5−4 stars. I would say this feels like one of the better, faster, and healthier lunch options in FiDi. Essentially an efficient and large deli, Jersey Mike’s offers subs of all kinds. We got lunch to go for a group from them today and it was solid. I particularly enjoyed their chicken salad, which included cucumbers, baby tomatoes, and a smattering of greens. The chicken in particular was very flavorful. I’m not really a subs/cold sandwich person usually but in general I would say I enjoyed Jersey Mike’s. I like that that their bread is very soft and that the sandwiches are not soggy. Would probably not go here by myself but seems to be a good option for a casual lunch!

Despite being a chain, Jersey Mike’s serves up some of the best chain breakfast in the Financial District. They don’t have their sandwiches sitting under a heat lamp and made with a powdered egg. Nope they serve it up fresh with a real egg like a diner. They have a great sandwich unique to Jersey Mike’s and that is the pork roll or Taylor Ham with egg and cheese. Every time I get this sandwich it amazes me how so many places do it wrong. I wish they had some breakfast tater tots to go with it but I will live. The location is packed at lunch but pretty smooth in the morning. For lunch their cheese steak is solid and reliable. Service is friendly and efficient. Short walk from the office. I’d come here more often but then I would need new pants.

I had a club supreme with the works. Delicious. It’s a sandwich, but a little fresher than potbelly’s. Also, the staff were real very helpful and friendly(enough to make me want to write a review). Good job all around.

So, I was totally craving some tuna fish… what better way than a tuna fish sandwich? Yes, I do have weird cravings(and no not pregnant). So considering I was working downtown, I thought why not give this a try, I’ve passed by it a dozen of times, and the line always seemed to be long. The place may be packed, but it is definitely also orgainzed. Two lines, one for hot subs and one for cold. The line moves pretty fast(or maybe because I was in the cold sub line on a pretty cold day.) The servers were helpful, not that friendly, but pretty helpful, which is good enough for a fastfood joint. I don’t really expect much more than that. I was pretty glad that they didn’t thow me a dirty look when I asked questions. So kudos to that! The sub quality overall way just a-ok or maybe a little below average, but it had done its deed. I don’t really think I will be wanting any more tuna fish for a while(not that it was bad). I think the lettus wasn’t dried out all that well, the sandwich was more on the soggy side. I wouldn’t say I would never be back, but I would probably try somewhere else out before I returned.

I was craving a sandwich and JM’s got way closer to the mark than Subway or Quizno’s every would have — I’d rather eat out of the garbage than either of those places. Today was my Jersey Mike’s maiden voyage. I had a cold sandwich but everyone else there seemed to be going for the hot sandwiches and waiting for their orders to be up. You have to select an existing sandwich from the board and then modify to your liking. I opted for turkey and provolone with no provolone on a whole wheat wrap. You’ll be charged for cheese even if you don’t want it. They don’t charge extra for the wrap. JM’s doesn’t have avocado! Their toppings — lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, banana peppers, jalapeños and a spicy red relish. They have less toppings than other sandwich competitors, but their sandwiches are soooooo much better than others, especial the one with the ubiquitous stench. When you come to JM’s, definitely get your sandwich or wrap«Mike’s way» with the spices and awesome hoagie oil. JM’s didn’t invent hoagie oil, but they definitely do it right. This JM’s location has ample seating and two soda machines, as well as self serve coffee and a selection of syrup pumps to add the coffee, which is fun and tasty on a cold day. If you’re downtown and craving a sandwich and soda refills, Mike’s is worth a try.

By some luck, I was just wandering around during my lunch time in the FiDi and happened onto Jersey Mike’s Subs on Maiden Lane. I had no idea of its popularity, but after having one of their subs, I can attest it’s the REALDEAL! The menu is pretty big and there are plenty of subs to choose from, from cold subs to their list of cheesesteaks. The prices of their regular size subs are a bit steeper than some other sandwich shops, but by no more than a $ 1 when you compare the bang for the buck. I settled on the Big Kahuna Regular Sub and it took about 5 minutes to be ready. I did like that the grill was front and center, so customers could see every step of the preparation of the sub. When it was being bagged, the regular size cheesesteak sub looked a bit small, at about 7″, but it was heavy! It seemed even bigger once I started eating it as I noticed it was stuffed adequately with plenty of steak, cheese, peppers, mushrooms and jalapenos. The bread was real soft, warm and very fresh. The cheesesteak was filled with plenty of provolone cheese too and the jalapenos gave the sub a nice spicy kick, but not enough to light your mouth on fire. In the end, the cheesesteak had tons of flavors, but wasn’t a mess of dripping juices or extra soggy. Note: I saw the staff prepping a Giant cold sub and the bread was massive compared to the Regular cheesesteak! I believe the Giant cold subs are listed at 14″ and it looked every bit of that size. From the looks of it, it might even have been able to feed 3 people!

Good, meaty sub sandwiches. This place is similar to the Quizno’s chain and is not meant for the health conscious(very salty subs). They are known more for their cold cut sandwiches, but also offer hot subs, and wraps as well. They are not stingy like Subway usually is with the meat. I had a Club Sub with turkey, ham and bacon and the stack of meat was pretty high. The cold cut sandwiches come in three sizes as follows: Mini(5 ½″) — around $ 5 Regular(7 ½″) — around $ 8 Giant(15″) — around $ 13-$ 14 The hot subs come only in Regular and Giant sizes.

This is a chain sandwich shop located right outside my office on Maiden Lane, makes legit NJ style subs. No, Potbelly’s does not. No, Subway does not. I ordered #13, the Original Italian which is Provolone, Ham, Proscuittini, «Cappy» hot ham, Salami and Pepperoni. This place reminds me of Blimpie Sandwiches when they were good and before they all but closed down in all the boroughs. I am giving them a 5 because the meats are sliced fresh to order and the bread is great. You won’t get a sandwich bread like this anywhere else in NYC, it’s the light flaky NJ style hero bread that’s so important to a sandwich like this because it has good bite, yet goes fast and light. No artisan crusty bread, no crappy Subway bun, no cranberry 12 grain crap, though they do offer other bread alternatives if you so wish. Here’s how I ordered mine. I asked for extra lettuce, they didn’t charge me for that and they pile it up high. This is important. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil called«the Juice», jalapenos, and their awesome chili relish. I got this in Giant size which is 15″. They also sell them as Mini 5″, and Regular 7″. For dessert, original Tastykake peanut butter Kandy Kakes. I wholly approve of this establishment. Great for the Sunday football game or workday lunch.
