Two days before Xmas and they went out of their way to creatively solve my framing challenge. Especially Jack and Alicia. They are THEBEST.

A quality framing shop that takes the time to get it right. Their customer service is excellent and to me that matters. It is rare in this day and age to find a family owned business where the owners are in the store working along side their staff. As they help you make the best choices for your piece of art, you end up feeling that you are a part of their team. Highly recommended!

Yes, J. Pocker is much more expensive than the typical-frame-shop-on-the-corner. Yes, for everyday framing jobs of inexpensive items you may not necessarily want to pay Pocker’s prices. And that makes perfect sense. But when you’re looking to frame something valuable — whether it is fine art or a collectible — trust me, you don’t want to go to the corner frame shop. That’s when you want Pocker. Believe me, I’ve had prints worth thousands of dollars come back from other small frame shops with new handling creases, fingerprints on the paper, hair in the frame, you name it. The people at these places do not know how to handle high-value items, nor will they treat your pieces with the care they deserve. If you watch them work, they often won’t store your pieces flat, and they don’t wear gloves when handling them. Pocker is the only place I’ll trust with high-value pieces. The work is superlative, and that’s what you pay for. If it’s not perfect, they’ll fix it for you. What you’re buying is peace of mind.

I wanted to spend a little more than I normally would to have a photograph framed; It was for an important gift. The result was a little disappointing in that three out of the four corners were not a perfect seamless fit. This obviously surprised me, after all this is not your typical corner frame shop. It’s an expensive luxury frame shop for those occasions when you want to have something perfect. The sales person assured me they would fix this. When I came back to pick up the frame, the«fix» turned out to be some kind of colored paste that filled in the small gaps. It wasn’t too noticeable because the color of this substance was a perfect match with the color of the frame. Still I was disappointed. I came to J Pocker because I wanted the work to be perfect.
