I walk by this cube all the time but decided to look a little more closely of late. It is really cool. I don’t know anything about art and was unaware of Isamu Noguchi’s work. This cube cheers up the whokle plaza and gives it life and vibrancy even if surrounded by schlocky vendors and the stupid CitiBike rack.

A beautiful example of Noguchi’s work on the main plaza in front of the HSBC bank building just off of Broadway downtown. This is definitely worth making a trek to see if you are in the area. Chances are that you probably have seen it already, but you just didn’t realize it was a Noguchi. Check it out again with fresh eyes!
