Traveled from Connecticut with my best friend due to all the great reviews I had read online. Was welcomed into a very clean and beautiful space by the pleasant receptionist. Met with Vanessa for a deep cleansing and she worked wonders! I have very fair skin and I wasn’t red at all when I left. Felt comfortable enough to still walk around the city after. Great experience and awesome results, I will definitely be returning soon!!!

I’ll start off by saying that from the moment Michelle the reception answered the phone and actually had a conversation with me (not just placed me on hold) I was intrigued. Michelle provided me with much needed information and encouraged me to try their facial, thank you. Arriving the day of my facial, I was greeted by Michelle who was lovely. The space is very cozy and intimate. I received an amazing European Deep Cleansing Facial from Vanessa who was fabulous by the way. She was very warm and informative oh and her hands… they felt like silk on my skin. I highly recommend this place. Yes, I know the prices are high but you shouldn’t bargain with your skin care :) I already booked my next facial! You should too.

I had an awesome peel along with LED light. Its been a few days and my skin looks good. The technician was a sweetheart and she really understood my skin’s needs. I used a gilt city deal and the service was worth the price of the coupon. Although I really liked it, I wouldn’t pay full price ($ 200+) for this facial. I’d give them five stars if I could afford to come back. Their prices aren’t justified.

I love this place. There are very few places in the city where you can go and relax, I mean really relax, do you remember what quiet sounds like? Neither did I! The studio is pretty much all white and soft and relaxing… and it’s far enough away from the street, it’s totally blissful, that combined with the great work is amazing. I am not a huge facial person because I have good skin and every time I have gone before I have gone to a big spa. But coming here has showed me that good skin needs love too and thrives with it. I will never go to s big spa again as you can totally tell it’s a factory and stressful when you compare it to actual personal service of a small studio that’s actually invested in you. I will totally come back.
Oh even though the address is 315 Madison it’s on 42… just FYI.

Simply the best in the city! I have been going to Ildi for facials for over 10 years and I wouldn’t go any where else. Tracie Marytn trained, Ildi went out on her own to combine her knowledge with all of the latest and best treatments from around the world. She is constantly researching new techniques to keep us all young and gorgeous. In addition to being extremely talented, Ildi is also a sweetheart. Thanks to her refining facials, no one can guess my age!

i have had 4 – 5 treatments at Ildi Pekar Skin Care and every time i have tried something different as Ildi is always ahead of the rest! She is excellent as a skin care specialist and her staff is efficient and polite.
Going to Ildi’s spa is a zen experience. its a lovely mini-​break that leaves you looking younger and more beautiful!

This woman knows her stuff. I had been having some problems with my skin and she pinpointed the problem as soon as I walked in. She gave me a deep cleanse facial that was more on the pricey side, but well worth it. I’ve never left a facial before without red welts all over my face, and she did some heavy duty cleaning with MINIMAL redness. I was so pleasantly surprised with the results.
Will definitely return!

This woman knows what she’s doing! I came back from India with blemishes galore. It was gross, and I don’t really want to talk about it, but she fixed me. She is sweet and attentive and knowledgeable. The products she recommends are spot on, (or spot off in my case). She isn’t pushy at all, and will give you free samples of the products to try at home.
Its her own studio, one table in a cozy little room. She is super personal with her assessment, implementation, and goal setting. She does the consultation and a specially tailored facial. She tells you what to expect in the next few days after the facial, she is available via email, and her assistant Michelle responds promptly. I love her, and hope to have a long term, committed relationship.
