Enjoyed a lovely dinner. Unfortunately, they do not have happy hour even though it is posted on their menu as buy one get one. Beware before ordering your wine.

I ve been here after quite a long time(i gave a bad review for the service and i wasn t satisfied at all) but today i was in the neighborhood and gave it a try one more time. Huge improvement in customer service: staff friendly and with smiles. Sweet alessia alwaya the best as well as proaciutto and mozzarella. I reccomend this place for a good italian meal.

Great hidden gem on the far west side. Delicious salmon eggs benedict and some serious coffee. There’s something extra yummy about their bread and olive oil as well. It’s a bit cramped in there so I felt a bit like a bull in a china shop. A lady almost knocked over my beverage getting into her seat next to mine. If you don’t like that, steer clear.

Overall, okay. Good spot to grab brunch(especially outdoor seating is great in summer) or dinner. Nothing to be amazed about. Pizza was a bit disappointing. Really mediocre — the dough was dry, and mozzarella on top of that was not delish. Would recommend to go to La Vela(42nd and 11th ave) if you’d like to taste really good, chewy and yammy dough. Also tried meat lasagna — which was not a great portion for $ 14 but decent quality. Might not try again, unfortunately, unless I’m stopping by for late night drinks with some desserts.

Lovely. Lovely. Lovely. Delicious mochas and hot chocolates just far enough from The Daily Show studio so we got out tickets and then parked here for a little while. I totally recommend this plan.

very nice sandwich there. I had it twice and still consider one of the best sandwiches in town.

Food and service is fabulous! I have been coming here since opening. huge fan of the sister restaurant on 10th(il melogrino) and we have never had a bad experience. It is a tiny space so if you are looking for a private business meeting this is not your place. if the weather permits they have tables outside. LOVE their pasta, great soup/sandwhich lunch specials, fabulous wine. A great hidden gem on 11th ave!

During a rare warm fall night, came here for a nice dinner for two in the outside seating area. Once the crying baby left, an excellent atmosphere and friendly service. After getting the complimentary bread and vinegar/oil, ordered the half salad-half panini combo($ 11) along with a glass of Merlot($ 10). Salad ordered was Mela — heavy on the green apples & raisins, moderately drenched in dressing, light with okay flavor. Panini was the Ciabatta Baretto — felt the taleggio cheese overpowered the truffle paste, but it went well with the wine overall. The person with me got the Focaccia Vegetariana — which was hardy yet the grilled vegetables inside seemed raw. I do like the setting and it’s nearby my home which is a plus. Not enamored with the paninis; though I want to check out the sliders.

Judging by the reviews, they must’ve just been having an off night when we went? We came because of the reviews and because it was convenient to Terminal 5. Luckily we gave ourselves PLENTY of time or we would’ve had to leave. I will say that both waitresses were super nice, but the problems we encountered were: –Took 30 minutes to get WATER. There were only 2 other tables outside that were occupied. When I went inside to use the bathroom, I thought I’d see a huge crowd in there – empty. They said the amount of delivery orders were the problem(but shouldn’t be mine). –Guy next to us asked twice for his check and finally had to just go inside and take care of it –After waiting quite some time for our dessert, my bf went inside(again) to track down the waitress. She forgot to put in the order. I will say we then got it quickly and for free. –The bill had to be adjusted 3 times because we kept getting overcharged. The food was good and they seem to mean well and maybe it was just an off night. But it was reaallllyyyy off. It looks like a nice spot to have some wine on a nice day.. if you’re not in a hurry.

Been in love with this place for years. It was my favorite secret place to enjoy a cappuccino or grab a sandwich to go, and now they’ve really found the popularity they deserve! I’ve never had anything from here that I didn’t love. I’ve had a lot of amazing soup of the days from here. The ciabatta romana panini is MYFAVORITE. The lasagna is awesome. And if I’m dining in, I can’t leave without having the burrata. I’m so happy to see this place thriving!

Fantastic little coffee/brunch/lunch spot in the middle of no man’s land! Had a bowl of their artichoke and potatoe purée soup… rich, smooth and seasoned perfectly to be a great comfort food go to here. Also had half a ciabatta sandwich that was imported truffle spread with argula, fresh mozz and marinated tomatoes on it. Just a beautiful combo and that truffle spread made the sandwich come alive. Ended my meal with a small affogato: hot espresso poured over a genours scoop of vanilla ice cream. A perfect balanced vegetarian meal when I wasn’t even trying for one. The interior space was small but open with a ton of natural light and nice spacing among the tables. They also had outside seating as well on the sidewalk, reminding me of the café’s with outdoor seating all over Italy and France. Can’t wait to go back.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a cozy authentic Italian café in this neighborhood. Everything was delicious. I loved the music and décor, even the coffee napkin. The best seat is the far corner so you can see the park across the street, and the flat screen tv. The only thing is, they do not accept my favorite credit card.

Want to give them 4 stars, but my pet peeve — after leaving, everything I was wearing reeked of grease! Obvious inadequate kitchen ventilation. Otherwise, cute place, solid food /service, nice menu. Was raining so we couldn’t enjoy the very cute patio.

Small, cozy, little nook that’s good for a lite brunch. I came here with my fiancé and ordered their Agnello slider, which consists of grilled lamb, sautéed mushrooms and provolone, and their Baguette Parma made with prosciutto, tomato, mozzarella, arugula & extra virgin olive oil. Their baguette was nicely toasted and had great crunch and texture when biting into it. The Agnello slider’s lamb was cooked to the dry point, but the provolone helped the rest of the slider from being just dry. Food overall was a 3.5 to maybe 4. Deductions come from the fact it did take a while for the food to arrive; that was very odd to me especially since there was only two other people in the restaurant and we were only ordering panini and slider, I don’t dare image how long it’ll take for their larger dishes. For a good period of time the server just disappeared and never came back to check on the tables. It’s not like this was a big place with about a dozen two-person tables, so I don’t know where the server went.

I went there for brunch. The server barely spoke English. He forgot to bring the salt and pepper. The food took a long time to come out. Cute place though. Good coffee, nice music. Kind of cramped.

It’s hard not to love an Italian café in a quiet part of Manhattan. Outdoor seating, friendly service, great food and sunshine is the perfect combination for an afternoon lunch or weekend brunch. Be sure to get a table outside… then order the Ham, Egg and Spinach Omelette with coffee or one of their Panini with a Limonata. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better place for lunch/brunch within several blocks.

I came into NYC for a nice bike ride. I saw this place and was interested. They had outdoor seating and it looked pretty nice. I am so happy I did. There was one server, which caused a slight delay but when your enjoying the food, it really doesn’t matter. The sliders were amazing. So much flavor. I couldn’t get enough. The sangria was also great. I would recommend this place to anyone.
