Decent dog park. Two sections, one for small dogs, one for bigger dogs, though usually people are mixed in both. There is some covering which is nice on rainy days for people with their pups. A pebble base instead of concrete which is awesome, though when the dogs start running it can kick up. Be careful of the back wall in the big dog space– it dips down far enough that more bouncy dogs could jump over if they see something or a ball accidentally goes over!

This tiny dog park is a nice refuge near the water that is inconsistently attended.

A good dog park for the community that live in the area. There’s no grass just small rock pebbles that my dog enjoys to sniff and a fountain that did not work when I was there. The section for the big dogs is spacious.

Not a large space for dogs to run but considering the surrounding areas popularity, it is as much as you can really expect or ask. Most dogs are on the smaller side and owners, not all, are a touch overly protective when a bigger dog wants to play at a higher lever of intensity. As opposed to grass and dirt the corner lot is filled in with small, smooth circular rocks which makes clean up easy. Fortunately, there wete no dog leavings anywhere in sight, so the regulars really do the right thing.

This dog run is great. It is split in to 2 sections, a small dog and big dog section. There’s plenty of water and the run is kept pretty clean. It has plenty of room for dogs to run around

I prefer this dog run over the smaller, newer run by the water. There’s tons of rooms for the pups to run around, chase each other, play catch, etc. Most of the dogs that come to the run are well socialized and play well, definitely a good group. Just be careful with your dog. You can’t always predict how they will react to meeting new dogs, or how the other dogs will react to yours. My dog is definitely on the submissive side, she shows belly first. Recently we had an incident where a sweet dog bit my dog in the face because it was toy aggressive and my dog was getting to close to his toy.

One of the top dog runs I have found so far in Queens. Things it has going for it: — Has water for dogs, but you have to bring water during late fall, winter and early spring since park shuts water off — Decent size for the area — Seating for dog owners — Plenty of shade — Has both a separate large & small dog area — Pea gravel used as ground cover — Portable dog pool — Permanent canopy — Good fencing Things it has against it: — Could be a little bigger — No bathrooms near run for humans — Needs more gravel in areas — Entry gate needs repair A surprise when I first saw this run. It has most of things a good run would need. One of the only runs in the city with a canopy(great feature) Dog runs/parks I have been to so far:
