Very cool old building with lots of atmosphere – beautiful, eclectic, relaxed décor. Service was very good, but food was just kind of… average, which was surprising. Appetizers shishito peppers and tabbouleh were pretty good, but the porgy tasted a bit strange and the pork Milanese was seriously overcooked. Excellent place for a glass of wine, but go somewhere else if you want top notch cuisine.

I have only been here for dinner though according to the reviews I need to come for brunch! The food is great, and large portions too. I like that this restaurant is bigger than I expected so it can accommodate larger parties more easily. One time I came for dinner of a Fri night with a party of 8 and was happy we didn’t have to wait long for a table and they seated us even though some of us were late.

This farm-to-table gem has the BEST food and drinks. I tried Bronzino for the first time here and it has become my absolute favorite fish. The Brussel sprouts were succulent and the drinks were prepared perfectly. A must try!

I always forget about this place for some reason when thinking of good Soho restaurants and every time I visit I realize I should keep it as a standby. Its enough out of the way of Soho traffic that you feel like you maybe just stumbled upon it by accident. Inside the ambiance is well thought out and beautiful, but doesn’t feel over thought or fussy. Most importantly, the food was creative and delicious. I had the Amish chicken breast salad with red quinoa and pea tendrils, it was delectable and healthy.

Awesome brunch spot. The décor is very light and airy, and the service is good too. I came in the later side of brunch, 1:30 so it was starting to clear out but I can see it getting really crowded earlier. The cinnamon rolls come highly recommended. They were phenomenal! I ordered the poached eggs with potatoes and they were also awesome. The spices they used in the dish were unlike anything I’ve had before and I really liked them. The music here was also really good. I know that’s a weird thing to point out but sometimes brunch spots can miss the point on that. Hundred Acres would be a good spot for a small birthday get together or a good place to take your out of town friends to show them the cool spots that New Yorkers brunch!

Amazing food here. Everything I have ever had totally hit the spot. Great selection of wine, meats, cheese and cocktails. I really love the mediterannean twist and recommend the labne and brussels sprouts but the menu changes seasonally. Also awesome were the desserts-chocolate tart and olive oil cake.

Food here was outstanding. My wife and I loved the open faced bacon, egg, and cheese. Very thick cuts of bacon make everything delicious and with this local hot sauce our server brought out, it was perfect. The ricotta pancakes are a must try. The sound heavy, but these were some of the lightest pancakes I’ve ever had and with the amazing texture and flavor of the caramelized oranges(which I’d never had before), vanilla whipped cream, and syrup, they were even better. There were lots of interesting cocktails, although I didn’t want to be the only one drinking at brunch so I held myself back. As a man with a pregnant wife, I really appreciated the mocktail list as well. Nice touch. Would have loved to have tried the cinnamon rolls or beignets, but I didn’t want to stuff myself too much. The service was also some of the best I’ve experienced in awhile. Very friendly and super accommodating. When I asked for hot sauce, he brought out some Tobasco right away and I was very appreciative, but about 2 minutes later he showed up with a second bottle of this local hot sauce, even though I gave him no inclination that Tabasco was anything less than fine. It told us he wasn’t just trying to do the minimum and he was thinking of ways to make our experience as good as it could be even when he wasn’t at the table with us. Very cool. The atmosphere was beautiful, especially in the back sunroom area. Lots of light. Nice décor. It felt like we were outside even though it was chilly out. Perfect setting for a brunch. My one complaint would be the prices. We spent more here on brunch Saturday than we did on two nice, but casual, restaurants we went to for dinner on Friday and Saturday. If the prices had been lower I probably would have tried more and I’d be considering a 5-star. I know nothing is cheap in New York, but there are restaurants that make it happen and a $ 21 burger is just too much, even for New York. I would certainly recommend Hundred Acres to anyone looking for a good brunch in the city. It was a great experience, had terrific food, service, and atmosphere, but bring some extra money with you, because it will cost you.

Good brunch – I got the French toast and I liked the sauce and apples it came with. However, we made it super clear we were in a rush and everything still came out super slowly. We got our coffees comped out of it, but it still caused some stress in the rush.

This is a beautiful, meticulous dining experience in a sumptuous space. The service was thoughtful, reasonably frequent, and gracious. All the food was excellent. Let’s hit the deets(02/06/2016): Mi Nonna cocktail, 13 — reminiscent of a Manhattan Albarino, glass, 11 Stracciatella, homemade, 13 — fresh mozzarella-like appetizer Whole porgy, 26 — served head-on, skeleton removed, it was draped with an excellent sauce that was spicy in a way that complimented the flavor and texture of the fish. It made me want to have porgy again. Lamb shank, 32 — a special that night, it was also served with a perfect sauce. The long-roasting gave it a delightful crust with a tender interior. Pinot noir, glass, 12 TOTAL129.55 BONUS — beautiful décor BONUS — gracious service

The place was very nice inside and lots of people having Sunday brunch we headed to the bar for an after brunch cocktail from another place, when we got to the bar we were sort of undecided on what to get so asked the bartender … He had a little bit of a cocky attitude so we thought ugh this is going to suck … He presented us with two of the most delicious mojitos ever!!!(we asked for them not too sweet) yummy so for sure I will go back for food this time

Hundred Acres has the best staff, ambiance and food. I absolutely adore this place. Love that you can make a reservation for brunch! I’ve also had a dinner event for 40 people in the back room, and the price was reasonable, with amazing food. I would totally recommend this place for just about any occasion — from casual to fancier. I recommend the deviled eggs, beignets, the poached eggs(spicy!) ANDALLOFTHECOCKTAILS.

I came here for brunch on MLK day and was very impressed. I made a reservation for 2 at 12:30 and when we arrived it wasn’t too busy, but by 12:45−1 every table was taken. Definitely glad I made a reservation. Service: Our server was attentive and friendly, and made sure our drinks were full. Drinks: Spiciest Bloody Mary I’ve ever had! That being sad, it was great. It definitely woke me up. Food: We ordered the griddled cheese(bosc pears, gruyère, side of fries) and the whole grain brunch salad(kale, roasted hazelnuts, feta, and a perfectly poached egg) with a side of spiced fries. Everything was perfectly proportioned and delicious. The feta cheese might have been some of the best I’ve ever had, and the hazelnuts were a great addition to the hearty salad. It was more of a bowl than a salad, as the base was grains with just a smattering of kale. The griddled cheese was awesome. I’ve had a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches, and the usual add-ins like tomato, bacon, caramelized onions, etc. are good but the pear was a nice change. I highly recommend ordering the french fries as a side if they don’t come with your dish. Atmosphere: We were seated in the front of the restaurant, which got a bit cold because the door kept opening when people came in(obviously). The bathrooms were small but very clean, and consistent with the décor upstairs in the restaurant. I’d love to come back here for dinner sometime!

The restaurant messed up and cancelled my party’s reservation and because of this we waited over an extra hour before we were seated, and the space to wait is non-existent so it was awkward. They realized their mistake and gave us a tiny free mimosa(wine glass maybe filled up a quarter of the way) but the wait was obnoxious. The Beignets were great, very eggy and fluffy which I loved and the bread pudding dish with poached egg had good flavors and texture but the spinach was a little overkill, a few leaves under the eggs would have been sufficient. The cinnamon roll was so so, the burger was average even though cooked medium rare without asking(which was another no no, always ask!), the side of bacon was smoked nicely but was too salty, and everyone else seemed to at most like their meals but not love. Our server was a sweetheart which made the meal easier to deal with, but not too happy with this place overall.

The review is for their brunch, which is excellent, and the reason why Hundred Acres is expectedly packed every Saturday and Sunday morning. Our server was warm and attentive, the food hit the spot, and the atmosphere is fun(with a top hits soundtrack that reminds you of the night before and the reason you need a water, a Bloody Mary and a coffee). The Creole Bloody Mary with whole grain mustard is flavorful and has a nice kick to it, and my cup of Guatemalan coffee was refilled promptly each time it even approached being half-empty. The gooey cinnamon rolls live up to their name, and are incredibly satisfying. I like that the dough itself isn’t completely doused in the sweet frosting, which allows you to finish the dish without feeling like you just downed a few Pixy Stix and gives you the opportunity to actually appreciate the cinnamon flavor. I also loved my goat cheese-sage bread pudding, much like the other reviewers on here. It’s a heavy dish that was designed, I think, specifically to cure hangovers. The tang of the lemon butter is great, as it adds some acidity to the rich dish. I would return in a heartbeat, though I frankly have no idea how good their dinner menu is(and don’t really care).

If you’re looking for a fun brunch place that can fit a relatively large group with awesome music, decent prices, and an enjoyable atmosphere, than this is the spot for you! I came here for brunch yesterday with a small group and I had a great time. We didn’t wait for long, as we had a reservation, and we were seated within a few minutes of our reservation time(highly suggest making a reservation for your group — this place is packed and rightfully so). I didn’t get a chance to walk through the entire restaurant, but it is large! We sat towards the front, at a table next to the window facing MacDougal street. We got a pitcher of the Creole Bloody Mary and that was really good — I’m not a big fan of bloody’s and usually can’t finish the whole one when I order it, so getting the pitcher was perfect for me because I drank just a little — and it was tasty. The mustard seeds give it this nice tangy flavor and not too overbearing. There were six of us for brunch and four of us got the Chilaquiles(while the other two got the shishito egg sandwich). I asked for jalapenos on mine, and it came back with these hot fiery red peppers(forget what type of peppers they are). The chilaquiles were decent and the peppers added the extra spice that I was looking for. The eggs were okay — a bit bland and dry, but the chips in the chilaquiles were good. When you break the egg and the yolk runs over them, they had a nice texture of crunchy and soft/soggy(but not in a gross-kind of way). The ambiance is awesome — fun and open and free. The music was on point. They played old school 90s/early 2000s hip-hop, r&b, and pop — stuff that brought us back to our middle school, high school, and early college days. The staff was pretty friendly and had a very solid experience. Definitely a brunch spot I’d come back to.

Went here for brunch but just in case they have a time limit for the Brunch on a Sunday, which I don’t think rocks business. This is a small place but the food is very good, I recommend the cinnamon buns because they come out warm, and ready for devouring! I would go back, only at an earlier time so I’m not as rushed as I was that day.

Took my friend from Spain to Hundred Acres for a brunch on Saturday. We got there around 2.30pm, so there was no line or anything. I ordered Goat cheese sage-bread pudding and it was . The eggs were cooked delicately, spinach was great and that bread soaked in lemon butter sauce was simply amazing. My latte was really good too. The food was so good I didn’t want it to be over. My friend had baked eggs with tomato sauce and feta cheese and it could absolutely compete with the my dish. I couldn’t decide which one I liked the most though. Overall, great experience. Left this café with a huge smile on my face.

I’m reviewing for brunch! I came here for my boyfriend’s birthday brunch with his mom on Sunday at around 1:30. I’d give this a 3.8 if I could. I’d recommend coming here if you are nearby. It has great décor and a good ambience and the food is good. I’m not totally sure if I would make it a point to make a res and come back though. We walked in without a res and waited 15 mins. I think the front/more desirable tables are given to people with reservations though. RESTAURANTOVERVIEW: –This place is big. I could not tell from pictures, but it had a big front room that is airy with the windows open, and then it has a room if you go back a bit further that is a bit darker with no windows. Then in the back they have a bright patio that is covered — the patio is where we sat — it was really echo-y, which made it a bit hard to hear one another. There was also a super loud group of maybe 5 people right behind us and it made it really impossibly to hear each other without starting way above a standard level. I’d recommend trying to get in the front room, especially near the windows if it is nice out if you can –Good ambience, cute décor FOOD: –We got mimosas to start — those were good –I got the baked eggs, which were really tasty and a bit spicy, but not too spicy –My boyfriend got the fresh toast — this was really good, very sweet, and really heavy/filling. Super good though if you want something sweet –My boyfriends mom got the soft scrambled eggs, which I almost got. She said they were really good and cheesy(with gruyère cheese) SERVICE: –The service was good — we switched tables from the dark middle room to the patio. But we really wanted to be in the front near the windows; However, we came without reservations, so that is most likely why we did not get one of the better seats in the place.

I’m going to go with a solid 3.5 but since I had to decide between 3 and 4, I went with 4 based on my girlfriend’s experiences when they were with me. It is a sweet brunch spot with fast service, kick ass drinks, and an interesting menu that proved to be mostly very tasty. We avoided the dreaded wait by putting in a reservation for 11am on a Saturday and was in an out in just an hour. Food: I can get why people give it 4 stars, but not 5. We started with the deviled eggs app which were 4 tasty little samples(2 of each one on the menu) of the flavors offered. Nicely done, highly recommend. I had the baked eggs, good but not great. It was a little heavy and reminded me too much of that gross«frank and bean» type dish that kids eat. One girlfriend had the bread pudding and she gobbled that up and another had the chilaquiles which she also gobbled up. I was a little jealous of their food. Side of bacon, good choice. Drinks: Very nice selection of adult beverages including several choices for bloody mary’s though I wished they used a higher grade of vodka. I applaud the creativity! Service: Our waitress was a doll. She was willing to take a photo of our table, not once, but twice. They were a little eager to clear our table and get our payment i.e. as they were clearing our food plates, not even done with our drinks, our check was plopped down. I mean, what if we wanted another drink! Guess we didn’t get that option, our 60 mins were almost up. I also was a bit annoyed that our apps came out 1 minute before our main dishes. Atmosphere: Very delightful and nicely decorated. The 3 separate rooms help with not feeling overcrowded. I also LOVED that it seems they keep all of the strollers in the back away from everyone else who is eating in the other rooms. Overall I recommend this place. Just know that you can wait but the brunch will be very good! Worth the wait — up to you to decide!

L’endroit est très mignon et agréable. Le servie également. Il y un peu de tout et les petits déjeuner(principalement toutes sortes d’omelettes et de mueslis) sont très bons.
