Ran in last minute for holiday gifts for 3 plant arrangements in various pots ~ the prices were reasonable, the service (love Michael) was relaxed and efficient ~ and the quality of the flower plants are fabulous ~ thank you. Happy Holidays!

Just had flowers sent to me by them– was so impressed by the quality of product and service that I will definitely be sending from them in the future. Beautifully crafted arrangements by wonderful people.

I walked-​in last minute for a birthday arrangement — the man helping me said he could get me one in 20 minutes, but suggested a beautiful array of cut flowers instead, which he made right in front of me.
While I gave him the freedom to whip up whatever he wanted (after he asked for my price range), he asked for my suggestions on each flower each step of the way. I walked out of there in about 5 minutes with a classy and elegant arrangement of cut flowers, done with friendly and fantastic service.
Highly recommend this place based on service alone — but the flowers are just as great!

Living behind Hudson River Flowers we thought in Spring that we would order flowers from it. Buying boxes to hang ivy we entered the store asking for variegated ivy planted in 3 window boxes. Price quoted $ 15 a plant, plus labor to plant the ivy in the boxes with soil. Credit card provided. Several days later a call to get status to bring in the boxes, we were told the order with the credit card was lost off the wall in the store. We entered to resolve and was assured that the credit card was in managers possession, price confirmed, boxes provided, and credit card provided a second time. Calling a day later to see if the order was ready, the manager said in a curt voice NO Planting, ivy now $ 20 a plant, come get the boxes, hang up. Boxes left outside. No more business with this local store for us as neighbors with the rude behavior by ²⁄₃ staffers, one a manager. No Way.

I have been using them for as long as I’ve lived in the neighborhood (since 2001) and they alway have the best looking and best quality flowers. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they always give good advice on how best to take care of what you purchase there.
There is a big difference between them and the ordinary flower seller, they really stand out.

High quality shop delivered beautiful unique flowers to my «yogihotti» twice without fail. Once they overcharged, but quickly fixed it upon notifying them. Will always use them when delivering flowers in New York City!

Their arrangements are a true work of art. The staff is friendly and very helpful. When visiting family in NYC we always rely on them and are always thrilled. We ordered flowers for our sons engagement and they were not only unique but fresh and fragrant. lasted forever too! Only wish they were open on Sundays.

I am beyond furious after not only receiving a flower arrangement that died 24 hours later, but the way my mother, who sent me the flowers, was treated by the staff of this «business» when she called to complain. When the flowers were delivered about ¼ of them were dead/​dying, to the point where I had to rearrange them to take a pic and send to my mom (I felt bad telling her). After nearly all were dead the next day, my fiancé told me I had to let her know. I finally spoke with her last night and naturally she was upset. She called this morning and spoke with Jon who suggested my apt was overheated (uh, not at all) and basically told her too bad and that someone would call her back «maybe today.» They also never even emailed her the receipt. Clearly they couldn’t care less about their customers. Very annoying on so many levels, and also given they are a block away from my apt and I was thinking of using them for my wedding, as well as several events I’m planning for work. Even the convenience won’t make me go there again. Wish it would let me give zero stars

I just called Hudson to have flowers delivered to a friend for a special occasion. The woman on the phone was fantastic — friendly and helpful — and they guaranteed delivery that evening (I called at 2:30pm). I don’t know what the arrangement will look like but the service was great!

Just received a beautiful arrangement from Hudson River Flowers, arranged by Michael. Very nice vase and wrap-​leaf presentation. Flowers are in bloom and lively colored with 3 – 4 different kinds of greenery throughout, one of which I’ve never even seen before. Best part is the roses are extremely fragrant, almost like a honeysuckle.
