This has to be the worse car service ever!!! Poor customer service ooh and did i mentioned how unprofessional the car drivers and dispatcher are. Please take your business elsewhere if this had zero stars thats what i would’ve rated them.

I waited almost one hour for car service home from a medical procedure 2 weeks ago. I was schedule for a 5:30pm pickup and didn’t get car service until 6:30pm. I decided to give the car service another chance. I had scheduled a 10:30 am pickup for an 11:30 am doctor appointment. After waiting ten minutes no car, I call High Class car service and was told driver is on his way and will be there in ten minutes. I wait another 10 min and no show, I call again and then was told driver is on his way and driver shows up around 10 minutes before my scheduled 11:30 am doctor appointment. It takes about 30 minutes to get from my apartment to my doctor’s office by car due to traffic too. I had to reschedule my doctor’s appointment because of the lack of competence and communication with High Class car service.

My wife and I use them to travel between Harlem and Bedford Park. The dispatchers are always professional, but sometimes the drivers try to over charge us. No way we should be paying a higher fare for the same trip. Unacceptable. It’s happened a few times during the 3 years we’ve consistently been using them. I’m a big guy, so I win disputes but its annoying to have to go thru this.

Dispatchers have no customer service. Rude!!! They need to go back and learn how to treat people. They lost me as a customer.

I haven’t had too many negative experiences with these guys. The problem is not so much with the dispatcher as it is with some of the drivers; in particular with driver #244. This tool is rude and greedy. He asks you how much you pay to go to your destination. If he doesn’t like what you said, he will tell you he won’t go for less than«X» amount and if you refuse to pay his extortion he will ask you to get out of his cab. Nice huh? This tool literally left me stranded!!! Try these guys, but if you see a White Toyota #244RUN!!!

Called the dispatch and asked for a metered-cab(aka Green Cab) that takes credit card. The cab arrived in 3 minutes and was clean and the driver speaks English. After we got on the cab, we noticed the fare meter was off. We asked the driver to turn on the meter, but the driver said that because we called the dispatch, the meter does not run, the meter is only running if it’s a street pick-up, and said that it’s a flat fair of $ 20. After we’ve arrived at the destination, we were going to charge thr fair on a credit card, the driver said that no meter, no credit card. WTF, we did ask for a cab that takes credit card. It is a New York City Green Cab, which is regulated by NYC’s Taxi and Limousine Commission(TALC), but it refused to run the meter and refused to take credit card, even though it’s capable of doing so… Clean car +1 point Speaks English +1 point Does not run meter –1 point Does not take credit card –1point Arrived safely at the destination +1

As of late I noticed that High Class has fallen way off when it comes to ethics. I have 2 incidents that happened recently. 1st incident: I called the dispatch for a car to take me from 119th& Saint Nicholas to 150th& Saint Nicholas. The lady driving the van charged me $ 20 for a ride that was $ 10 tops! I had on a very nice suit if I may say so myself and I think she may have thought I was rich. Even if I was rich(and I’m not) you don’t overcharge ANYONE. Please beware of this Hispanic lady driving a minivan. YOU’VEBEENWARNED! 2nd incident: I called the dispatch to take me to 119th& Saint Nicholas from 153rd and Saint Nicholas and was charged $ 15. Not only did this foolio take the FDR highway but then he proceeded to tell me the ride down to 119th& Saint Nicholas is far. Mind you we were already on Saint Nicholas and this poor excuse for a man decide to go all the way East to come back West. Where they do that at???

This company plastered non-removable advertising stickers on my front door in their efforts to bomb the neighborhood with branding. An unprofessional and borderline illegal affront to the Inwood neighborhood.

The blasting bachata music. The driver discussing some woman from the bar the night before, including all explicit activities. The driver had two cell phones, speaking on one of them and with the friend companion in the front seat, then puts the conversation on speakerphone to rest that phone and send a text via the other phone(all while driving with me in the back seat). Now compound all of the above with looking for a S Francisco Giants player stats via Google. The dispatchers, dear God. I wonder if they were found, created, or what? Rude is compliment to the way they are. I have heard so many conversation while riding with these people, about how much they need to make for this or the other thing.

DISHONEST and RUDE! DONOTUSE! I called for a car to pick up an 80 year old friend and myself. I had to call dispatch twice on a 95 degree day to get the driver to show up. Finally they sent a red car with a High Class sticker on the window, the driver was extremely rude, listening to spanish music blasting… He ran a RED Light and almost passed the house we were going to. He abruptly stopped and did an illegal u-turn on the street. I got out of the car and accidentally left my iphone in the car. I immediately called the base. They claimed that they did not have any red cars. The base dispatcher was very rude and pretended that he did not remember dispatching a car to me when I called him twice earlier. The dispatcher mocked me as I was trying to explain to him where the driver came to pick me up. I WILLNEVERCALL or USETHESEPEOPLEAGAIN!

They never showed up. I was left standing outside in the cold with my son. Where the f**k were they? I won’t use them again. We even have a car waiting area where we live. It’s not like there wasn’t a place to park on a busy street. Never again.

Definitely NOT High Class. I called several times to check the price and availability from Brooklyn to Westchester. They quoted me a price and said to call ½ hour before pickup. When I called, the dispatcher said that they had no cars available and wouldn’t be able to send anyone and did not seem to care when I said that I would post a negative review. I’m thankful that someone had a reliable car service and I was able to get home. I will never use them again. One star is being generous.

Terrible service, rude driver and overpriced! I flagged down one of their cars today near the hospital on 168& St. Nicholas. My daughter got out at a red light on St. Nicholas at 183 and then I was dropped off at 188& Wadsworth Terrace. I gave the driver $ 10 and waited for change. I take this ride a lot with other car services and it’s always $ 7. The driver refused to give me change and said it was a «long» drive and there was an extra stop. Never using them again. If they stop when I’m flagging down a car, I won’t get in.

My mom was stranded at New York Presbyterian Hospital Cornell medical center on 68th St. I was on 18th street. I called high-class, there was a towncar there in two minutes to pick Her up. They saved the day.

I got a ride to my house and was short the money. My friend also didn’t have the money. The driver held my phone and said to call him when I get the money. When he returned, he wanted $ 50 claiming I made several stops and he spent 50 minutes with me. My Google Latitude proves he is lying. He made one stop and spent 12 minutes with me at that stop. I am filing a police report in a few and will be taking this to the Taxi and Limousine Commission. THESEGUYSARECROOKSSTAYAWAYFROMTHEM.

A friend recommended this service for a critical pick-up and drop off right after the recent«snowpocalypse.» I had to get a staffer to the train station, and it took four phone calls to get them to confirm there was a car available and arrange a pick up(they wanted us to wait until 10 mins before). Then, they didn’t even show up! We called again, and they came. I had explained when we booked that I would be paying by card… «No problem.» They didn’t need my card at that time. Then they called my staff member several times in the car, demanding card info. She conferenced me in, and I explained that I was meeting her car, and they said to turn over the card there. Then they called her again(they had my number) and demanded the card info. I called them directly, gave the card info, it cleared, and they said they would still need to rub the card. At that point, I explained again the critical timing of getting her to the train station. He «understood» and said it was«no problem» if somehow finding her car on a corner at a train station was not fast and easy. I just needed her to make the train. So, of course, they held her hostage in the car and would not release her and would not conference me in as I took my own cab to meet her. Is this story long and confusing and uninteresting? Agreed. By the time they quoted me a 15% charge for using my credit card, going from $ 40 to $ 48…then accepted that 15% was only $ 46…then said it was fine not get the physical card… then said they would wait for me to bring the card… then held my staffer physically in the car so she almost missed the train… Oh, just find a reliable, honest car service. This isn’t it. I stood in the street in the cold and said I would give them $ 40 and that was it. They accepted. «No problem.»
