Hess

To start this gas station is no longer a Hess station, now its a Speedway Gas location. I been coming to this location. For years and i have to say its convenient and the price is gas when it was a Hess station was great and within the area was considerably reasonable if not cheap. There are multiple pumps, free air, and it is well lit even late at night.

What the heck. I will review a Hess gas station for the fun of it. Because besides being the mundane run of the mill gas station I just routinely fill up in… they were open during the blizzard a year or two back when most were closed. Though lines were 100 cars long to get gas, yet they provided during a shortage.
Inside is where one can pick up chips, drinks-​Monster Energy Drinks included, sometimes you’re see a apple or banana on the side, beer, and the hotdogs that I am scared to eat with not much toppings, just packs of relish and condiments. Inside is very basic.
The gas station itself has air for tires, etc… the place has many customers because it’s on Northern Blvd, mainly taxis. Of all the 100s of times I filled up here, I appreciate you taking my money but efficiently, fast, no wait. Cash/​Credit Cards. Bam, back on the road, polluting the earth, thanks.

Wish I could leave zero. Being British we were not used to the ‘pay now then fill’ way of fuelling. The lady told me that I had to say an amount and that if it was less, the difference would be refunded to my card. This was untrue. Paid for $ 50 as we had to fill the rental car and it only took $ 19 to fill it! Didn’t get a penny back! Disgusting.

Prices are always good here. Eapecially considering it is NY. No cash or credit difference either.

They have «ROLLER FOOD», Yum Yum, but it’s a very small station. If it were big like other places they get the 5 stars
