Pretty busy place as you might imagine being located in Macy’s NYC. Staff is polite, fast, efficient and knowledgable. Coffee was very good. Place is pretty crowded and finding a seat can be a challenge though. Pretty loud because of the size of the area and number of people.

I came on Saturday with some people from my Meetup group just to relax after all the walking we did. This place is located on the 2nd floor in Macy’s. They have a charging section, so if you need to give your devices more juice, you can do it there. You can also get wine and champagne if you want, I just got a chai latte. The seats were comfy and the employees were pleasant.

Nice place for breakfast. Food was good but not cheap although it’s what you would expect for the location. I had an egg scramble with chorizo for $ 16 and a bloody mary that was $ 10.
Cool atmosphere especially if you sit upstairs by the Windows.
I may go back if I am in town again but I would check my options first.

Want to feel like you’re having a classy New York City afternoon without actually blowing a bunch of money? Come upstairs to Macy’s second floor and relax in the ivory leather booths of Herald Square Café! It’s basically Starbucks (priced up a bit) with some champagne and truffle add-​ons, so splurge as much or as little as you like. I’m rating it 5 stars because not only are the staff nice, but it’s not too crowded at all if you come at the right time and it’s a darn good spot to study with Macy’s free wifi, outlets near the bar stools, and clean bathrooms in house. (If you’re female, go to the fourth floor. The second floor ladies room is right in the shoe department, which automatically means long lines and nonsense.) Just a nice spot.

Located inside of Macy’s on the 2nd floor. Plenty of tables to sit at. Service was okay, but the guy who took our order wasn’t fully listening. He asked if we wanted our cookie warmed, we said no and he did it anyway. I also ordered a mocha caramel iced coffee, but he wrote just caramel on the cup so that’s what was made.
They also serve wine here!

Starbux, huh? If it werent for the subtle branding, and tge proprietary names of the sizes of drinks… you wouldn’t think that’s what this is.
Staff is friendly snd engaging, whuch is always a big plus for me.
There’s beer and wine too, so if youre making a day of shopping in Macys, this is worth a visit to recharge or relax.

Wow every time I go to the Macy’s flagship I’m surprised at how upscale it has become. This is really just kind of a fancy Starbuks franchise located on the second floor next to the women’s shoe dept. It’s comfortable, the staff is friendly and a good place to chill when you need some respite.

What a great place to relax while your shopping buddies shop. Conveniently located inside Macys, it’s the perfect place to relax, escape, rest while shopping in the Herald Square area.

Don’t let the name fool you because this is actually an incognito Starbucks all sexified. When word came out that Sbux was doing this new type of café, I was so beyond excited that there would be something like this in NYC. However, my mind was baffled as to how this would work out. Think about it, they are encouraging and sanctioning. day drinking. within one of the most well known department stores in the world… and it’s located in the shoe department… that’s just setting me up for a whole lot of trouble. They totally didn’t have to twist my arm behind my back to get me to come here.
Come by, order some dark truffles, and sip on some champagne (or grab a cold one if you’re waiting for your lady). In my opinion, this sort of arrangement will only help you shop, so much better. Clearly, they made this café for people like me… they just combined the three things that I love most in life: coffee, booze and shoes. You had me at hello.

This «stealth» Starbucks has two clover machines with unique coffee blends just for this store. It is a concept store with a partnership between Starbucks, Macys and LV. They also serve chocolate and champagne. Not your usual café. They have wifi.

Generally, I try to branch out beyond the Starbucks. However, this Starbucks fancies it up. A plethora of coffee varieties, champagne, truffles and a spiffy chic décor. Okay, fine I’ll admit it’s pretty cool.

I came here thinking that as an unbranded starbucks I might find something unique on the menu. Other than the alcohol menu, which is completely disconnected from the coffee operation (no alcohol coffee drinks for example), and no frappacinos, it is otherwise identical to a branded starbucks. The pastries and sandwiches and syrup lists (except no promo vanilla spice) are identical to any other NYC starbucks. There is nothing unique to this unbranded starbucks that a branded starbucks would have other than an unintegrated alcohol menu. The menu boards are in a different font, but order and wording of the items is identical to a branded starbucks. I didn’t buy anything since there was nothing unique on the menu and I knew of a different starbucks which would have a shorter line than here. Maybe it used to have unique items but someone in stocking dept said «**** it we aren’t keeping special items for this one-​off store» and turned it into a normal starbucks menu wise.

Excellent service and a great cup of coffee. Nice quite place to sit and relax while the family spends my money in Macy’s. they also serve Moët champagne, wine and chocolates. Very nice classy place.
