My go-to smoothie place! Super affordable(compared to all the juicing chains) but still super delicious and healthy! Has an extensive menu of choices and even some amazing creations that are just as amazing as the classics! Even if you don’t see what you like, you can always make you want! Super friendly, great service!

First time to try it, so disappointed. The bubble tea was too sweet, I threw it. The man(maybe is boss) had really really bad services. He yelled the customer who took the pictures from the wall. Just a picture? Never come again…

Delicious natural tasting smoothies at a great price! Hawa has a nice resorty atmosphere to it. It is a small mom and pop setup, with a fruit stand behind the cashier and pretty clean. I must confess, I know the owner and he is a great guy. However, even if I didn’t, I would really like this place. The prices are good(though it’s cash only), they get good business and you see them receiving fresh shipments of fruits and veggies all the time. Also, they pay professional attention to detail. They wash all the produce before preparing an order. Customers can request for their apples to be skinned or not(for the fiber benefit) before it gets put in a smoothie. Service is friendly.

Hawa Smoothies – thank you for being absolutely incredible in your business practices and fresh fruit smoothies. You are exactly what all of New York City needs, and a saving grace on the Lower East Side. First and foremost, let’s talk prices. The quality and size of the product you receive from Hawa is unmatched in it’s price point… simply because it doesn’t exist. For $ 4.00 you can get a medium, which is quite filling(to some may even come off as larger than life) – with two fruits and only 50c extra for protein powder or a scoop of peanut/almond butter. For $ 5.00 you can do three fruits or choose from one of their awesome menu items, pre-tailored for a more balanced flavor experience(this also gets you extra ingredients for your money, so it seems). The staff here is super friendly and efficient. The only complaint I could ever imagine filing is their cash only policy. With more than one location I think they have a lucrative business capable of at least accepting VISA. It’s definitely not a deal breaker, though. As I always say,* once you go Hawa, you’ll always say haha when looking at the smoothie prices anywhere else in New York. *I’ve never once said that.

I try the avocado smoothie. Not that sweet. I can taste more spinach and cucumber than avocado. The people work there seems friendly when ask question about their drink. I think I will go back to try other drink.

Nice little spot for a refreshing smoothie or bubble tea. Good selection of fresh fruit juices also. My favorite is the peanut butter punch for breakfast. The watermelon & lychee is refreshing on a hot day.

This is my go to local Acai Bowl spot! Priced very reasonably and I actually prefer their bowls over fancier/pricier bowls at nearby restaurants. The staff is very friendly as well! Couldn’t recommend them more.

Bubble tea is as ubiquitous in NYC as free newspapers and tourists. But you need to find a place like Hawa to have it done right. The mango bubble tea is made fresh with ripe mangoes, but it’s not syrupy sweet. But the tapioca bubbles themselves are Hawa’s secret weapon. Made fresh every few hours, they are soft and soothing. Anyplace else I’ve gone, the bubbles are a bit tough and taste like food coloring(it takes a lot of food coloring to get black). Not at Hara. However they get those tapioca lumps nice and black does not leave a chemical taste. They’re just smooth and satisfying. I’ve never been a huge bubble tea fan until now. Nice work, guys.

What is with this place? OK, I have come here on several occasions. First time, I asked for low sugar in bubble tea drink. I got a Yes, but they completely ignored my request. Second time, I asked for low sugar, was told they can’t do that, it is pre-mixed. Third time, I didn’t say anything about sugar content. And when the guy handed me the drink, he said«no sugar right?» And then he laughed. No difference in taste. Fourth time, I just asked for a medium-sized bubble milk tea iced, and then the guy over the counter asks, «no sugar right?» And I was like whatever. Tasted the same as the ones before. So basically your requests about sugar level in milk teas will be ignored, but they will continue to harass you about it. And I keep going back, I am a glutton for punishment. Wtf.

Stumbled upon this place as I was dying of thirst on this hot summer day. Tiny spot with about 5 stools. Lots of options for smoothies and bubble tea. You can also add protein to it if you like. I ordered a lychee watermelon smoothie in a large as it was only $ 1 more and asked for no added sugar. The drink was refreshing but it was still quite sweet even tho I asked for no sugar. Next time I will stress no extra sugar. This place is cash only but they conveniently have an ATM machine inside.

I love my smoothies as much as the next person. That being said, this smoothie was extra THICK and flavors really stood out. I ordered a large or medium since the other option was to go small. Who the eff goes SMALL on drinks? So a large Acai Smoothie with bubbles(50 cents extra) it is. It came out to $ 6.50 but certainly wasn’t worth $ 6.50. $ 4TOPS. But the service was quick as the store was empty when I walked in. I had the option of adding bubbles. I was in the area. P. S. — The Asian people that walk in this part of Chinatown is as bad as they drive maybe WORSE. Stopping and pausing to look at pigeons. CRASH. Stopping to scratch their calf without moving to the side. WHATTHEFU-K? Stopping to stare at a hot girl walking by and then turning their heads to check out the booty while running into you. I have done that before but while crossing the street? How horny do you have to be to do that? VERY. Intentionally walking in the middle of the sideway going at a snail’s pace. And then having another person doing the same at a little quicker pace so that your only maneuver is to walk in the streets to cut in front of them. Someone slap these folks. I should.
