Pretty great market in the East Village area. They carry pretty standard take-away food plus produce! It’d be hard not to find a perfect snack in here: includes vegetarian, vegan, and health food options. They layout was easy — drinks are in the back — and the cashier was very nice.

This is my place to go for, well, pretty much anything. It’s your standard Ko-Gro but they make really good sandwiches. They also deliver pretty much anything all hours of the night and don’t have a minimum for delivery. My biggest gripe is that there’s sometimes difficulty communicating my order over the phone, but that’s to be expected. I recommend the Turkey BLT hero — see Sherri F.‘s review because I’m the friend she mentions who lives down the street. We are indeed fans of Happy Mart!

24 hours + turkey BLT hero = yes. A friend lives down the street so whenever we’re chillin’ at her house, this is our spot, and this is our sammich. It’s great for late-night munchies, not so cheap but it does the trick. They also deliver. Where else are you going to get a sandwich, some hummus, twizzlers, and cigarettes delivered at 4:30am? Yay Happy Mart!
