I agree with all the positive comments. He’s a true professional with passion for his work which creates an incredible patient experience despite the unfortunate circumstances that brought us together. Conservative yet very thorough — a rare combination. Love how he walks you through everything he’s about to do, is doing and has done. Great guy.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Schiffman. He fixed something that an unskilled dentist had unnecessarily performed in my mouth years ago, was extremely detail oriented and walked me through the entire process on video. I am usually terrified of having anything worked on in my mouth, but Dr. Schiffman is really a master of his craft and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Dr Schiffman is as good as it gets. I have had three root canals in my life, two by Dr Schiffman. When my regular dentist examines my x-​rays he always marvels at how thorough he is. I would recommend him to any one I know.

I will not go to anyone else. Had a few excellent root canals with no pain, no complications. Most recently had a huge problem with a molar that hurt after a regular filling. Had it filled twice and could not bite on it due to pain, soreness, sensitivity. All dentists recommended a root canal. Went to see Dr. Schiffman, who opened up the tooth, cleaned it up, refilled after determining that it didn’t need a root canal. Guess what, after his expert treatment, I am fine and can chew on that tooth with no problem. He didn’t trick me into doing an unnecessary root canal. I am an adoring patient and give my highest recommendation to go to him of you need a root canal. I should also mention that he is a wonderful and, gentle, mellow, smart man and an excellent, expert doctor. Why can’t there be more dentists like Dr. Schiffman?

Dr. Schiffman is a rarity in that he is skilled AND has a wonderful «bedside manner» (he actually seems to be truly concerned about your well being). The office is a very warm environment and the dr. and receptionist make you feel completely comfortable. In the case that anything bothers you after the procedure he will fix it asap.
At the time that I went to him he also offered me a student discount (although I don’t know if he still does this).
Please note: he is not a standard dentist, he is an ENDODONTIST, meaning he exclusively does root canal work.
