Hanh Nails

I hate leaving bad reviews but this place should be avoided. I got my nails done here because I was in the area and in a rush. Did a gel refill. They didn’t even last a week. 2 nails popped off just 2 days after. Place is dirty but the service was good. Not worth it, even if it was cheap you get what you pay for.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Let me tell you, a polish fell on me while I was searching colors. The reaction was in precedented. In fact, I was refused service thereafter. Please find the reaction attached to this review. I seriously doubt the staff is adequately licensed in violation of NY law. Try J&w nails instead, a much more professional place.

Always satisfied with their customer service. The prices are affordable with a lot of colors to chose from.

Mediocre at best and it might be wise to invest your money elsewhere.
I went during my lunch hour and they were accommodating to that but it ends there. I’m not one to complain because I hate putting people and myself on the spot so as it goes, I left with nine pink fingernails that had bubbled under the dryer. Thank goodness at least one was spared. The following morning, some nails were cracked (not chipped) after a short shower.
I will say that while sitting under the dryer, I met a few customers who stated it was their first time. Another older woman said she’d been there a few times and that they did an «okay» job. Another costumer complained she’d been there nearly two hours waiting for her nails to dry under the dryer and couldn’t wait any longer. As soon as that was spoken, she smeared the polish on her left big toe. The tech who’d been working on me fixed it (third time according to said costumer). Supposedly, there is a discrepancy on whether or not that particular toenail dryer was working.
They are nice techs but beyond that, I expect good service for what I dish money out for even if it isn’t much ($ 8 for a basic mani). In any case, did my particular tech have a bad day? Not sure, but maybe. Was she rushed? I want to say no as I had plenty of time. Perhaps she wanted to get to all other customers.
No more wondering… I won’t be returning.

My first rate will be on customer service: Very prompt and attentive service. Not many people for a Saturday, as per a side conversation, very rare but I’m happy! The gentlemen that is taking care of me (Pedi) seems to know his job without me having to instruct or micro manage (thank goodness). Gentle but assertive just the way I like it. Lol Come see Alex the blonde bombshell for your pedicure. My next review will be based on outcome of service.
Final review: Alex took his time and I am pleased overall!
