I have been waxing my underarms for a long time. There were always ingrown hair and I would see a dark shade which I hated. My mom told me about electrolysis but being away in college it was hard to make the commitment. As soon as I graduated I made an appointment with Lia at Hairless NYC Clinic. She explained the process, how it works and when to expect regrowth and the importance of following a plan for better results. She did the first treatment that same day, it was not as painful as I was afraid it would be. For the first few months I went often, sometimes with Lia other times with Annie, however they were very generous with their time. By the way the office is beautiful and it always smells great from the aromatherapy. Now I only go back every two months for a little touch up in case a few hairs show up.

I had tried everything to get my hair under control from waxing to laser. Nothing really worked. I came to this clinic with high hopes but not really knowing what to expect or what the results would be. I received a thorough consultation and had every question and concerned answered by my electrologist. The consultation is free when you have a treatment. I usually go for 30 minutes and the time goes very fast. They make sure that you feel comfortable with the treatment. I purchased a prepay package that they offer which I believe it is worth it. They have a great professional staff and a relaxing environment.

It’s been 3 months that I have been going to this place, and I already see results. I love the friendly environment and especially love how they’re always able to work around my schedule. The treatment room was clinical(super clean). My technician took the time to thoroughly explain every part of the process and ensure you are comfortable throughout. Highly recommend.

Monique, Lea and Zena are absolutely the best! I am Bi Coastal and have had electrolysis in Australia, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Their method is flawless, the equipment is clean, they use witch hazel to disinfect areas worked on, explain after care to you in a way no one else ever did. The results take imd, which they are honest about, but I see results. I would recommend Hairless NYC without hesitation. I look forward to visiting them every time I am in NY. Best electrolysis place!!! Ariella

Monique and the team do an amazing job making their clients comfortable and understanding their needs— and in comparison with some of the older reviews here, they are incredibly detailed and honest about their pricing and estimates. This team is 100% professional, and I would recommend to anyone interested in exploring the process of electrolysis.

This establishment is quite possibly the sneakiest and most overpriced place to have electrolysis done in New York City. Their cryptic website does not fully explain the ‘free consultation’ as well as their overall fee structure. Even when you call for information, they require you to come in to find out about electrolysis costs. When you realize how overpriced they are relative to other nearby establishments, and opt not to get a treatment, they still charge you $ 70 for a 5-minute consultation. They also lie to you about how long a treatment should take(the longer the treatment, the more expensive it is). When I went elsewhere, the treatment was done in 1⁄3 the time and was way less expensive. Basically, once you step in the door you’re on the hook for $ 70. Do what I did and take your business down the street for half the cost and a perfect. faster and friendlier experience! Note: here are the prices — for 15 minutes its $ 75. For 30 minutes I believe its $ 100 and for a full hour its $ 150. I would expect them to ‘push’ for the hour. The place I ended up at charged $ 35 for 15 minutes and charged $ 60 for 30 minutes and $ 80 per full hour. Can’t argue with that!
