Greenwich House Chemical Dependency Program

I have been attending the Greenwich House Substance Abuse Treatment program for about one year.
They provide a warm family like atmosphere for a quite diverse clientele: ages, races, religions, genders, and sexual orientations. On staff are a psychiatrist, a physician’s assistant, and quite a few counselors. The staff and counselors are truly concerned with each client. The varied groups run the gamut from A to Y (Anger Management to Yoga). If they could have found one starting with Z, it would have been from A to Z
They take Medicaid, and many other insurance plans. They did not take mine but offered to put me on a generous sliding scale self pay program,
And they provide a limitless amount of hot coffee, tea, cold water, and a limited amount of cookies and apples.

I can say with absolute certainty that I would not be the woman I am today, had I not gone to The Greenwich House CDP. The Greenwich House CDP gave me the additional help that I needed– attending 12 step meeting’s alone was not enough for me. Greenwich House CDP has helped me to grow as a person and build a solid foundation in recovery. I am grateful for the knowledge, professionalism and genuine support I received from the staff. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with Gloria G. is incredibly lucky! I’m living proof that this program works miracles.
