I am not a picky eater. I eat anything that is not moving on my plate. But that was one of the most disgusting meals I have ever eaten. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and the chicken was inedible. My wife ordered sushi and it was fishy and she could not finish it. We will never order from this restaurant again.

I will try this place again. The delivery was quick and the order was correct. The problem is that the rolls I ordered all tasted very bland. The fish seemed to be very fresh, but for some reason the rolls seriously lacked flavor. I ordered three different rolls, eel avocado, white tuna, and alaskan. They were presented nicely and looked good, and the fish had a nice texture. I don’t know what normally gives rolls their flavor, maybe it’s the rice, but these rolls had none. Even the soy sauce was watered down. I will try this place again though and order something else.

This is a not well known Japanese restaurant, locate in the upper east side. But the dish is so delicious, may be surprise for you. The chief is so professional. I like here food so much. This is not disappointed u.

Absolutely the best delivery sushi on the UES. Two for two in my experience. Great rolls, soba, salad… Love it!

Food was fantastic — fish was exceptionally fresh and well-priced. Definitely some of the best quality sushi in the neighborhood. Their BYOB policy is also awesome — as it is free, and you can basically bring in any alcohol you want. 3 star rating simply because while the service was OK, and friendly, our party was rushed out the door after coming in. We did arrive for dinner at around 10:15PM, and closing time is 11PM. As we got closer to closing time, the server essentially stood at our table, lifting plates up as soon as the last piece of food was eaten off of it. Had we not felt so rushed out, this would likely have been a 5 star review. We will definitely be returning, just not if we need to eat dinner past 10pm.

This was a nice, cozy sushi place. Service was excellent, the sushi was good quality, and it is BYOB(no corking fee). We had a very pleasant dinner there on a Saturday evening. We live in the neighborhood and will definitely be coming back.

I have eaten here half a dozen times and have found the food and service consistently excellent. Food is extremely fresh and tasty and our server could not be more pleasant! The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. BYOB is graciously permitted.

I love this spot. In my past, I’ve worked at a few sushi spots in Florida and have struggled to find something in my neighborhood that stands up to my expectations… Which are seriously fresh fish and properly rolled rolls. This place does both. I love that they are traditional, and don’t try to recreate everything. They are always very nice and don’t rush you if you’re dining in. Very low key and byob is great! Don’t change a thing!

The Knicks roll was amazing. Ordered this delivery to my hotel room via seamless after a very late night at the office, and the one roll was more than enough food. It was almost like two rolls in one because they put a good amount of spicy tuna and avocado on top of the roll, too. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

We went here after trying to go to Poke(there were quite a few people waiting outside the door and we were hangry so decided not to wait). A quick Unilocal search led us here as the closest BYOB sushi place, and it was perfect. We both got the roll special(3 rolls, miso soup/salad) for $ 18 which is pretty standard. They happily provided us wine glasses(because obviously we brought our own bottle of Trader Joe’s $ 2.99 wine). The sushi was good(not ahhhmazing), but up to standard, tasted fresh, and service was quick. It was small and not busy, so it was a great atmosphere(and, more importantly, we didn’t have to wait in line). I’ll definitely be going back!

Excellent food. Great presentation. Lovely servers. Let you sit forever. They have beer and wine. The prices are so reasonable. I’ve had take out from here but dining in was special. Had the heart shaped tuna roll and the lobster roll. Perfect ambiance for sushi. Large choice menu. Very fresh.

My new favorite local sushi spot. Super fresh and consistency good. Their salmon is superb as is their spicy tuna. Yum! Their miso soup is lackluster though, so opt for the salad instead.

Best sushi AND hot food around. There is only one other place that holds a candle to Green Bay and even there, they don’t ever get the orders right and over cook their food. Love it here and will continue to get their amazing special rolls for ever :) favorite: spicy girl roll

Best Sushi experience in the city. Though it was my first time visiting, I felt like family and a regular. I had never tasted Salmon roe so fresh and that is when I knew I was in for a treat. Once the owner and sushi chef learned I was open to new tastes, he gifted me with some of his specialties. It was an amazing experience and made me wish I lived in town. I know I will be visiting this place every time I am back. Added bonus. great music too!

By far my favorite sushi place on the UES. Their delivery is always incredibly fast and the sushi is so fresh. I’ve ordered from other places before but the fish always seems mushy and almost warm to the point I’ve thrown it away. I always go back to Green Bay and have decided to quit experimenting and stick to the good stuff! Their spicy crunchy roll is my favorite!

This place is in my neighborhood; so because of proximity and despite the mixed reviews, I gave it a shot. I ordered a couple of rolls on Seamless. Having never been to Greenbay/Gajumaru/whatever it goes by, I found it best to stop by to see the spot. And it was pretty empty. I greeted the hostess and told her I was picking up. She gave me my order(it was the only one on the counter). I asked if the chef had followed my one instruction: no wasabi mayo. She confirmed that he had, and I walked home. Excited for my sushi at home, I quickly opened the container and low and behold! There’s the wasabi mayo spread ALL over the roll. Are you serious!!! I called the restaurant and sure enough, the hostess answered. I asked her why there was wasabi mayo on my roll, despite my multiple requests. She implied that I was lying, claiming that the restaurant was«out of wasabi»??? Are you serious?! What sushi place runs out of wasabi? She then admitted that the chef had added the wasabi mayo and«wiped it off.» Do less. PS: my other roll was average.

Had the Sushi for 2 quick was fresh and delicious. The specialty role was incredible. Made me wish we had been more adventurous. My edamame was fresh and green.
