Grecian Gardens

Today I ordered the Designer’s Choice Bouquet «Deal of the Day» congratulatory (for co-​worker) arrangement at $ 100 (actual paid = $ 115 with tax + delivery). The arrangement that was received was not a bouquet and is listed on Teleflora’s website for $ 72.95 (Teleflora’s Bromeliad Beauty Plant). I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Upon speaking with a sales person at Grecian Gardens florist, they informed us the actual value of the plant is $ 89.99 at their shop. We were overcharged for this item and I would NOT consider that a bargain or «deal of the day». I anticipated receiving an arrangement that was a higher value for a better cost.
I understand that «designer’s choice» means someone will design an arrangement they deem appropriate for the cost. However, if the sales description includes the word BOUQUET, then I anticipate receiving flowers and not simply a plant.
We made a 2^nd phone call to the florist and were offered a $ 30 refund on our order. It was very discouraging to receive a product that did not represent the quality or quantity of price paid for our special occasion.

It was my cousin’s bday. So I wanted to order some flowers for her. I got out of the train platform and went to the upper level. they inside the turnslide. So you have to pay for a ride in get into their flower shop.
I asked them how much is to make a delivery to 42^nd and 3^rd ave. The man told me its $ 25 min and 5 $ shipping. This comes with a vase. So I gave him $ 40 to upgrade the flowers. I gave them the address and time.
The next day, she got her pretty flowers on time by 11AM. And it bloomed for a week and still looked good on its 8^th day. My money was definitely worth it. Don’t use proflowers! or 1800flower! order from this florist.
I will be ordering from them again and I hope I will get flowers from them from my friends and family!

I ordered flowers today to be delviered to a co-​worker in the vacinity. They were delivered within the hour. Extremely happy!

These guys are awesome. Ordered some flowers over the phone for a friend. I was going to be missing her birthday dinner, so I asked that some flowers be delivered to the restaurant that evening.
The nice gentleman on phone asked my budget, added a small delivery fee and promised that the bouquet would be beautiful and delivered on time.
Both promises were kept with flying colors. My friend was overjoyed to receive her beautiful bouquet.

I ordered an arrangement from the online site and when they arrived, were completely different. The flowers were cheap looking, not fresh at all and artificially colored. They were nice enough to bring a replacement that was at least closer in color to the original shown online, but still filled with carnations and baby’s breath. You get what you pay for– and they were affordable compared to most, but still way over priced for dyed carnations and completely dishonest from online to reality.

Found a beautiful arrangement on their website for my boss’ birthday. What we received on the other hand, was anything but. I don’t think there was one flower in there that even slightly resembled what was in the picture. The flowers were already browning and none of them looked fresh. We called and within 40 minutes they came back to exchange it with another arrangement. Slightly better, but still not fresh at all and nothing like the picture. It was very tacky. I really don’t think they even carry the flowers that were shown in the picture. Their website is very misleading and I would never order from them again. I should have Unilocal’d them first! This was very disappointing. Don’t make the same mistake we did!

This little flower shop is located on the platform for the Rock Center trains, B-​D-​F-​V. I love flowers and every morning I slow down to droll over the flowers, except I am often horrified. The gentlemen running this shop (and they all seem to be men) have zero aptitude for flower selection, arrangement, learning their market etc. Many of the flowers are spray painted garish neon colors. Other arrangements, if they have escaped the spray painting, are poorly done with mis-​matching flowers. Sometimes they will have a decent looking plant or two, but these are always overpriced.
I have been really desperately searching for flowers before (secretary’s bday) and been unable to even find anything here that I would be willing to present to her with a straight face.
The gentlemen at this shop are very nice, but they just don’t seem to have many aesthetic sensibilities.
