I have naturally curly, frizzy hair that has been one of insecurities for as long as I can remember. I’ve visited multiple salons on my quest for straight, beautiful, healthy, shiny hair, and have grown to understand that higher prices don’t necessarily mean better products or better results. I visited Serenity and had my hair done by Grace for a Japanese magic straight and my quest is complete. My hair has never felt so healthy and silky smooth and I’ve never received better service in my life.

Grace is great because of how well she finds the right fit for a particular person. She lets you know what she thinks is the best for your hair. Grace uses high quality hair products so it does not do any damage. She’s different from others who just do it for the money. I can’t trust anyone else with my hair but Grace, so content with my hair and will always go to her !

This place is AWFUL. The salon was recommended to me by a friend, I went to Mark for a haircut and color and the cut was TERRIBLE, my left side is noticeably longer then the right and WAY shorter then I wanted. The color was completely off, it was not even, blotchy, and I asked for medium brown — they made it JET BLACK. I will NEVER go back to Serenity Salon, ever again. Worst experience I have EVER had at any salon in my life. I told them I hated it and it was NOT what I was looking for, they still made me pay close to 300 $$ which was ridiculous.

After reading all the reviews about the salon I decided to give it a try. Grace is truly a miracle worker. She’s one of the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. She gave me advices what I should do with my hair & it came out AMAZING. I’ve been getting compliments everyday about my hair & I LOVE it. I recommend everyone to go to her!

Grace has been my hair stylist, colorist and friend for over 15 years. She is the most creative stylist with an amazing color sense. I work in TV/​entertainment business, and I never missed a compliment from celebrities and their hair stylists how great my haircut and/​or color looked. I whole heartily recommend Grace to anyone who wants to look good. She is current, knows trend, but most importantly is original. Once you experience her creativity you won’t be able to try anyone else, because you won’t find anyone better than Grace in the entire NYC!!!

Excellent Hair Stylist who I have been going to for my haircuts for a couple of months now. She lets you know know what she thinks will be good on you and is very steady in cutting. Also she colors hair well as I saw one of her completed works.
Yes, I am a guy who gets haircuts at a beauty salon but I think its better this way. Plus I get a nice shampoo before and after.

Grace has been doing my hair for 3 years now and I wouldn’t dare to go to someone else! She always knows what I want even if I can’t perfectly describe it :) From haircutting to color or just a quick blowout she always has me looking fresh and put together. She has over 20 years experience and in my opinion Grace is the BEST!
