I like having this store in the neighborhood but the experience is missing and the excitement of choclates is not in the air.
For such a small uncrowded store I’m surprised that the welcoming team is none existent. Also their sales pitch or willingness to show new things or entice you is not there.
You might as well walk over to seven eleven for the same service. It might cost you less to.

All good things* must come to an end… redeemed my final no-​purchase-​required Chocolate of the Month here, entering one corner entrance and leaving from another. Staff was pretty rude, and the carrot cake truffle was truly terrible, but since I assume they get ‘em shipped in by corporate, can’t go as low as a 1.
*Not the upscale market a few blocks away.

There’s nothing like a little bit of chocolate as an afternoon pick-​me-​up when you’ve been having a rough day. (On this particular day, a pound of chocolates would have been most appropriate, but I digress.) I headed to Godiva to pick up a truffle or two and was greeted and helped by very friendly and professional staff.
Why one star? I was perusing the truffle case to narrow my selection down to one or two pieces of chocolate and noticed some fruit-​fly type insects buzzing around in the case.
No afternoon pick-​me-​up that day…
