It was my first time here attending my first Japanese tea ceremony. In authentic Japanese style the venue was an escape to Japan — a country that I’ve never been to but would like to visit. The owner, Steve Globus, was so welcoming and informative for the newbies like myself. When asked why he decided to turn his loft into a tea venue and he said that this was his dream. And thank him for fulfilling that dream. NYC could use more Japanese tea venues such as Globus Washitsu. I’m looking forward to attending and even hosting a tea event here.
